I Quick And Easy Way To Protect Your Rod Mic In Bad Weather

If you use a Rode Mic I don't have to tell you how vital it is for quality sound in your UA-cam videos. I shoot year round and I just left the Rodes home when it was raining or snowing. Then I just had enough of bad sound in my videos in the winter's bad weather. I went for it and put sandwich bags over them just to see how it would work. The result was incredible. No loss in sound and protected from the rain. I might say putting a bag over them improves the sound. This video is documenting my test day and how they sound in the rain at around 50 feet away from the camera.
