  • 1970's advertisement "More Power On The Ground" about the Allis Chalmers 7040 and 7060 tractors from a Demo Pak machine which was used by dealers before VHS. Its basically a narrated slide show.

    A tractor far ahead of the competition at that time. A shame they built such long lasting service into.the unit, yet most farmers were to cheap to change the bypass filter, and the water coolant conditioning filter

      There weren't a lot of tractor 426 with the coolant filter, it was an option but everybody cheaped out. But it was at least standard equipment on the combines.

      @@RedBarnMachineWorks I could tell you tomorrow, I have all the 6/7/8000 literature and books. Every 7/8000 I own has them

      @@RedBarnMachineWorks did some research this morning, we are both right on the 7060 on up it was standard, so a 7030/7040/7045 it was an option, on the 7060/7080/7580 standard.
      I don't have an 8030 book, but the 8050/8070/4W220 standard.
      I've never had anything smaller then a 7060 in the 7000 series or smaller then an 8050 so that's why I've never seen one that didn't have the conditioner on
