Hello am looking at this one or the next model up which has variable speed. It's about a $20 price difference, does the variable speed even make a difference? Mostly you will sand at high speed anyways.
Hi Loren, for my uses, I would never need the variable speed on these little sanders. I have a 6" Mirka Ceros that is like a Ferrari compared to all the other RO sanders I have and it has a couple types of speed control built into it. I use the speed control on it mostly only for final sanding, breaking edges on softer woods, but could do without it and it wouldn't be a big deal. IMO, save your money and don't bother with the speed control.
Can you connect this to a shopvac?
Yes
Would you recommend using this sander to sand down a pool table?
What is the different between the ros10 vs ros20?
You can adjust speed with ros20 and only on and off with ros10
