I bought my system (2022 Suburban High Country) largely because of this video, so I thought I'd share my review. First, I was really hoping Corsa would reboot their Touring exhaust. I had that system on two GMT800 vehicles (Sierra Denali and Yukon Denali) and loved everything about it. No such luck. Similarly, Borla does not yet offer their Touring muffler for this generation. I was saddened by this because I had their Touring system on my 2020 Silverado High Country and it was perfect. Anyway, after perusing a number of available options, Corsa's pricing made the decision an easy one. Borla/GM Performance system cost was $2,200. This one was just over $1,400.
So how's it sound? Well, just like you hear in the video. Amazing. Except I now understand why they didn't include a cold start in the video. Cold starts are LOUD. I mean, shockingly, abrasively, and punishingly LOUD. Your neighbors will not like you. Your wife will be angry. Had I known, I would not have chosen this system. I've done a remote start from just over 300' away (huge commuter train parking lot) and even at that distance it is LOUD. I do love everything else about it. Build quality, gorgeous looks, and sound in every condition *but* cold starts are all second-to-none. But I can't convey strongly enough just how loud cold starts are. Even the few 6.2L pickups with "muffler delete" as the exhaust system I've heard have been notably more quiet on cold start.
Corsa's communication is outstanding. Their packaging is top-notch. Bends and welds are gorgeous to the eye. The silence at cruise is magical. The sound at low idle, and at every throttle position down to WOT will make you smile. The upgrade to slightly larger and beautifully polished tips really makes the truck look better. But let your truck sit for a few hours or more, you will scare people. Corsa folks - I'll be first in line to swap if you choose to reconsider and bring back your Touring muffler.
You were right about the “neighbors will hate you” part. Got my 2022 RST Tahoe the exhaust and they sure hate me. But, they also hate my neighbor since he got it for his vette. Thanks Corsa
Hi guys ., i just bought this but there is one concern., i have a 22 xl denali with the 6.2 and the orinal muffler comes with a valve actuator buttlefly that activate according to the pressure., i this this is for the cylinder deactivation system., will this be a concern??? Since the corsa doesn’t come with it.
Any issue with exhaust “drone” on the rear seats?
@@dmr0613 no drone, but it's only silent at cruise when you're steady in 10th gear. Downshifts for uphill grades do generate some noise.

Got the CAI and the exhaust for my 2022 Yukon Denali. The sound is perfect. When driving no drone and quiet in the cabin. Plus turnaround time was like 2 1/2 weeks. Corsa got them to me with the quickness.

How is the sound/drone when the cylinder deactivation, AFM, DFM, etc kicks on/off? Anyone install yet?
Can anyone reply to Leon’s post? I heard some of these exhausts sound terrible drone when the cylinders drop down to 4 due to the DFM. Not sure if it’s Corsa.
Ours will be the best option to combat it if you're sensitive to it. It varies person to person but those who don't notice it with stock aren't bother with ours - if it bugs you now with stock then any aftermarket system will make it more noticeable. Hopefully Range will have a disabler soon.
I just had the Corsa put on an SLE 5.3L and it is not that bad on start up as mentioned above review. The drone as compared to the Borla Touring is much better, if not gone, with Corsa. Sounds great when you step on the gas petal, yet quiet while cruising and off the gas pedal "coasting" and that sort of thing. I need to now compliment it with CAI. I'm used to hearing noise from under the hood as well as rear of vehicle. Right now all noise is in the rear. Not sure if CAI adds any performance but had a 2016 Tahoe with GM CAI and Borla Touring and it was better sounding with BOTH upgrades done. But then the Borla exited out the rear right side on that Tahoe, whereas the Corsa is quad tips out the back on the 2022 Yukon SLE.
Can't wait to have mine installed sounds SIC should be here next week

@nigelb2152 I haven't been able to make and post a video I haven't been driving the burban lately soups good though even better when you get on it . Not too loud inside that my wife never noticed I swapped out the exhaust But then again she's only driven it once from the dealership to the house. Whether been too nice been riding the Harley RK

i just bought a 2018 escalade esv to replace my 2011 esv, im going to order this, stock exhaust is too quiet

Will not be a concern. The OEM does that because they don't tune the muffler the way that we do with our RSC Technology. By removing the valve you get better performance while our RSC technology takes care of the tuning when your vehicle employs cylinder deactivation.

It likely will if that's more of an appearance package or offering that doesn't change the exhaust routing.
Do you guys recommend changing to an aftermarket cold air intake system with the list exhaust system? If so what are your recommendations?
For a GM vehicle we're recommend an intake with a dry filter, either the DryTech or the PowerCore

@corsaperformance Are these California CARB compliant I've tried to purchase others and not able to as they are not Legal to use on California Street vehicles only offroad but they still won't ship?

Is there an option to switch on/off this system?
The factory system doesn't provide this and we also do not provide wiring or additional hardware needed to achieve this electronically. However, our exhaust responds to how you drive so if you step into it - it'll be loud, if you go easy - it'll respond. It also has our no drone technology to keep it stock quiet at cruise
it has drone in lower arbm and it is need to cut stock exhaust when fix corsa exhaust

I was juggling this and Magnaflow and pulled the trigger to get this and dry filter CAI. Only downside is it takes 4-6 weeks to get these delivered. I cannot wait to see what these items make for my Tahoe.

What's it sound like inside the vehicle?
Exhaust tones are barely noticeable inside the vehicle other than when your in higher RPMS.

What are the performance numbers for the 6.2?
About 20% more HP and Torque Down Low below roughly 5K RPM. Those enhancements come due to the removal of the airflow activate valves in the stock system. After roughly 5K the vehicles appear to be Torque limited and the computer essentially takes over and nullifies the gains.
