With the track pack I always get the cross just on the best plate below the crop and make sure I can get my little finger just under the back plate.as you know they preen it in but I always use the wand they send every couple of weeks and run it around to check no imbedding to the skin . I always change them out though after a season and you can see the Teflon is well worn . Another 30 quid but piece of mind . I use dental floss for sticking the cross piece and press it tight with flat pliers. The way forward Dave .I was a bit skeptical at start and marshall say you can leave them on through the moult but wouldn't the birds dander dffo degrades the material. Not trying to tell you how to suck eggs Dave👍I know your a good folconer .in fact one of the best I'd say
That’s pretty much same here ; have you tried the newer method ? Or is that what you do ? I fitted them as per Marshall’s original videos but they long since have put out a new style method
What a fascinating hybrid. I've seen someone with a gyrsaker/AK hybrid but not in action, I'd love to see what it's capable of. American falconers have proven that the AK is an incredible bird, I wonder if the perfect hybrid isn't out there for it. I feel like as our hunting grounds get smaller we might be pushed into flying micros out of necessity.
brilliant that the teamwork is poetry in motion
beautiful hybrid in the right spot good on him ten years with that bird, perfecto, love it
Well impressed with that little bird going . The poor old dog looked like me after a Sunday lunch and a beer bless it 😂
Hehe
Very interesting video. Yes, the mic volume was perfect.
Thanks on both counts
Refreshingly different!

That looked like a fine way to spend a day. Volume was fine, have to have it loud anyway as i'm getting deaf as a post these days.
Cheers . After first bit I used wind muffled mic and it seems to be a big improvement . I’m trying to get in habit of having it with me !
@falconry.davesharpenatureboy you'll need a team to carry all the equipment before long.
