cool vid. big collector of friction cars. did a shootout of 6 different vintage brands and the ole scorchers finished dead last. lol. great lookers though. had the scorcher chamber as a kid.
steve stefka Yeah I was surprised that mine weren't faster, especially considering they appear to have never been used. Oh well, they are still super cool. What other brands did vintage friction cars?
wtffor well hot wheels did a few releases as I am sure you know. most companies had them. matchbox, majorette, shinsei, ahi and quite a few more, some included sets. some were stand alones. I may upload a few in the near future. cheers brother.
+zxccxz164 You bring up a valid point, I should have shown the cars getting wound up. As the cars do not have a "stay wound up feature", once wound up the cars unwind as soon as pressure is released from the body. As such I did wind up the cars but had to hold each of them in place until I let them go. Thank you for the constructive criticism, I do appreciate all feedback from my viewers.
The 70's were an awesome time (says our Dad)...good looking cars! Thumbs up!
They look real fast off the line! Glad to see these run down the 6 lane!
Very well done, the Scorchers are really nice, Thanks for sharing! :)

Cool!!!!1978!!!!!
how fun!
its not clear whether you 'wound' them up first, or just did a gravity fall.
