The whole time, it was technically the absolute solver that gave Cyn her silliness. Technically we never knew who Cyn was. Probably some aspects of her personality seeped through the solver controlling Tescyn, but the solver lived on without Cyn’s body. She melted into goo, blood, parts, and bones.

Personally, I feel like if MD does actually get renewed for a Season 2 by Glitch, it would feel somewhat like this. Less Gravity Falls and more Steven Universe-y if that makes sense. Less of a mystery thriller and more of a slice-of-life kinda episodic show. Where the characters can just hang out, deal with ordinary drone life problems, and generally recover from the immense mental trauma Cyn gave them in S1.......... until Liam inevitably reveals the merge between Uzi and Cyn is very unstable and the plot now centers around trying to find a way to exorcise the last remnants of the Solver from everyone (with hopefully Doll's end credits tease paying off somewhere along the line🙏🙏). I AM ON THE FLOOR BEGGING PLEASE GIVE US SEASON 2😭😭😭
I honestly think that was more of a crush (at least based on what we’ve seen) it def could’ve developed into so much more tho if the whole drama with Cyn trying to eat the universe didn’t happen.
