Pausing halfway through to run to the craftroom to make along with you! (And let’s be honest, there is no running left in this old gal! I’ll be walking - there are stairs involved! Ha ha). I had recently went back to some videos about pockets I had saved and made 2 each (1 for the journal I was making and 1 for the idea book). Interesting how none you have shown so far were on my list! Thanks Anne for always showing how to do things the “easy” way! Now to find my dictionary pages???!! 😂
Oh, Laurel, this makes me so happy! Thank you so much for crafting along with me, and especially for using your dictionary pages in such thoughtful and inspiring ways! I really appreciate knowing this, thank you!
For graduation, 1978, I had to have a white uniform, past knee length, 3/4 sleeves, pleats on the front and a Peter Pan collar. 😊 Your envelopes and pockets are fabulous 👌 The hour went by fast and I will have to watch again, when I sit down with my dictionary and follow along. This is an Hour of Power! ❤❤❤
Oh, my friend, how adorable you dear girls must have been with your Peter Pan collars - but I'm betting you were all itching to shorten those skirts dramatically! I would have been, I know! I appreciate you so much, thank you!
This pocket video is exactly what I need to replenish my pocket stash! BTW, you sent me some precious pages from your Italian book that I just started using instead of hoarding! Thank you!
What fun ideas. Yes I remember Peter pan pockets. In the late sixties I was a rather privileged teenager. My mom dressed me to the nines. Now I can't remember the brand but it was wool skirts, peterpan collars and beautiful sweaters. In fact I was best dressed in my yearbook. Very lucky child.😊❤ love all these great ideas for pockets. Thanks again anne for a very inspiring video😊❤
Suzy, what fun to remember those pretty outfits. I wonder if your wool skirts were Pendletons? I also remember "Ship 'N Shore" blouses - I'm sure that brand is long gone, but they were standards! Glad you liked the pockets! Thanks for watching and sharing!
I just found your channel!!! This video was so much fun! I made all of them with you! Thank you! Hugs, Janice from Orlando FL. It won’t be fall here for a long time. lol!
I’ve made them all along with you, even made two of the fold up kind as I can make those just the right size for a bunch of approx. 2-34 x 4-3/4” tags I’ve got in my stash. Thanks!
I made it to the large corner pockets. Tried three times. Now I have six corner pockets. I couldn’t fold them the same way to get the text to go the same way. It drives me nuts to have the text upside down. I know that’s my issue. But I will keep trying. I love this idea. I always thought I had to make bases from the stuff that I was working with. Well that’s silly thank you thank you thank you for this video. I also voice texted this video so I hope there’s no funky words.🤗💖🦋

Funny, I save every scrap - i get more satisfaction from creatively using scraps than anything else. Why is it we have this concept of "best" or "good" paper? Don't get me wrong, I do the same thing, but it really doesn't make sense. 🥰
I'm with you on the scraps - I have finally convinced myself to toss some to preserve a measure of tidiness in my craft room, but I still have a LOT of them, and my favorite creations are the scrappy ones! Thanks for being a kindred spirit!
I love Pam from the Paper Outpost. She was one of the first jj I found.
I love all of the pockets and the fact that they are super easy.
TFS!❤
Teresa, thank you so much! Pam has truly been an inspiration to so many of us!
Love your variety of pockets. A saver for sure.💜🐞
Thanks Ila! This was a fun one to do - so glad it will come in handy for you! Happy crafting!

Thank you, Darlene! Most have been done many times before, but it was fun to do a bunch of them together!
I had such fun last night making dictionary page pockets. I chose pages with words like kind and love and decorated them to highlight the words

Considering I was with you when I got that book at the hotel in Rome, you're more than entitled to a good portion of the pages!

Oh yes, our school uniforms through high school required blouses with Peter Pan collars-1966-70.
And I bet you all looked adorable! Thanks for watching!
Well, the tear of the pocket for the envelope came out with two hearts instead of one flap I’ll try again lol😂😄 🤗💖🦋
