@@carlos_mann Typo I think you mean will 'any' controller work ... I don't know, but I would think so yes. Here are some points ... a lot of mid controllers have lots of 'rotary' knobs (like volume controls) ... these won't work very well I've found. It's really the 'pads' that you will use. Again, some controllers are quite expensive because they produce all kinds of drum beats, loops etc .. also useless. So look for one with just lots of 'pads' and without all the extras. I use the Arturia Beatstep, first one I tried .. it has 'only' 16 pads, I find that more than enough, it's very solidly built and works great. It's probably not the cheapest, but it's the only one I've tried. Buy from Amazon, you can send back if it doesn't work ...
@@simonguettier Yes, that's what I meant, I completely messed that all up 🤦 But alright cool, thats super helpful to know. I have a bunch of midi DJ controllers, however they're all plug N play for Serato DJ. I have recently bought 2 of the Akai MPK Mini Mk3's, a Stream Deck Mini (which I might be getting rid / upgrade to the 32 button one) and a Rodecaster Pro. I was hoping one of those would be suitable to use with the software. Those controllers have 8 pads, where as the stream deck only has 6 but can have multiple pages. About how many pads would you suggest is a good amount to have available for the software, so I can mainly use the controller?
How to work your mic with a mixer and playitlive
Hey,
Can you use a sound bed and fx while recording a VT???
Does this software work with midi controllers?
Yes, it does.

Sorry for my late reply - my answer is, I'm not sure - a big thank you to @Simon Guettier for your help!
