Kenny is such a loving, caring brother towards Karen. Buying her a doll and donning his Mysterion getup just to talk to her and reassure her while the two are in foster care…how sweet
The “you’re getting old” episode is one that should be on the list. The nostalgia and loss you feel from inevitable change is something South Park truly captures in its show’s development.
Kyle accepting Ike as his adoptive brother when Ike is scared to get his circumcision and when Kyle hugs Ike after he wants Kyle to make the dead celebrity ghosts go away is super sweet.
Ever since that Hawaii episode about Butters, thanks to him I saw Kenny in a different light. Sure the movie overwhelmingly established that long before that episode, but to me, that only shows what he was willing to do for his friends. Butters showed me what he's willing to do with just about anyone else.
How the heck does nobody else remember that but the 4 of us!? That scene from the movie is one of my all time favorite movie scenes ever. The emotion that Ed Harris was able to produce was stunning. Plus it was horrible having to watch Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio drown, so to see her come back was beautiful.
“Raisins” is my all time favorite episode. I was a goth/punk kid when that episode came out and the “beautiful sadness” monologue has been burned in my brain since.
Tender, heartfelt moments like all those with Kenny's noble side and Butters' reassuringly optimistic view on life have helped elevate the show far beyond the likes of what are usually classed as its competitors like Family Guy or Bob's Burgers and solidify its place as one of the best animated shows of all time! While I'm glad Stan's very relatable speech at the end of the pandemic special made it in, I wish his reunion with his friends and family in the fixed future at the end of the Post COVID: Return of COVID special made it in too; it was actually quite heartwarming considering how much his life had turned out for the worse in the COVID future.
For it's Tweek vs. Craig. Mr. Adler misses his dead wife because he never goodbye. When Kenny died,he saw his dead wife. He told her he didn't feel better when he said goodbye to her. She's said "Saying goodbye doesn't mean anything,It's the time you spend with them"
For me, Stan offering to donate his kidney to Kyle even though they weren’t compatible matches. It just goes to show he would do anything to save his super best friend ❤❤
9:27 Cartman: "Thanks To Stan Marsh, I Decided Something: I Will Never Murder Animals Again. I Will Never Act, Like I'm Not In The Same Situation as Everyone Else Around Me. I Will Never Deny Feeling Pain. I Will Never Hide My Pain."
The one will always stick with me is the ending of the pandemic specials where Stan is now in the space force and when he comes home, he gives both is mom and Shelly a big hug. It's like he is just legit happy to see them. ❤
11:55 Cartman's statement to Kyle, although for a selfish reason, still hits hard. Cartman knows Kyle is a fighter (mostly against him); this is nothing to him.
Tbh, I’m surprised Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas from the Mr Hankey’s Christmas Classics didn’t even get an honorable mention. It’s actually a sweet rendition of the song and they even pay a small tribute to Mary Kay Bergman who passed away with a montage of her characters throughout the song. I always thought that was very touching but that’s just me
Cartman giving Kyle CPR was solely for the purpose of getting his balls sucked. And the reason it was so emotional was because they spoofed the scene from The Abyss almost word for word 😂
I relate to Kyle and Ike. I'm 28 and have a 9 y/o brother and we get along real well. We're always hanging out I teach him what I know about being a good man. I'll be tired as hell but I never tell him no
Have been watch south park since 2001, and for me the most touching episode was the one featuring Britney Spears (season 12, episode 2), the reality shown was too harsh and it was so heart breaking to see her die!! :(.
I guess there are already comments about this, but Cartman giving Kyle CPR is a reference to a movie directed by James Cameron called The Abyss. It is basically the same scene.
Do you remember when butters pretend to have balls in his chin? His parents watched that reality show with butters grandma, and she had a heart attack later, what if that lady is the same grandmother and she's angry with butters for that and becoming his bully? Just saying
My theory, cartman is actually gay and he's always had a crush on Kyle and doesn't want to be rejected so he bashes Kyle but to not make him or anyone suspicious, he's a racist against everyone to throw them off

I think the scene where Cartman revives Kyle was taken from the movie The Abyss. (And yes, it was a total act of selfishness by Cartman.) But yeah, South Park can do some surprisingly "touching" things sometimes.
11:58 - Clearly, you guys don't know about your film history. The CPR scene is a direct lift from the James Cameron classic The Abyss (the scene where Bud gets Lindsey back to the rig after she drowns, and the entire crew tries to resuscitate her).

Plus he is the only one who never picks on butters.

Well they mean wholesome or somber that’s was downright depressing
Kyle accepting Ike as his adoptive brother when Ike is scared to get his circumcision and when Kyle hugs Ike after he wants Kyle to make the dead celebrity ghosts go away is super sweet.

That scene where Cartman revives Kyle was actually a parody of a scene from The Abyss 😂 loved that movie as a kid and I know it well
How the heck does nobody else remember that but the 4 of us!? That scene from the movie is one of my all time favorite movie scenes ever. The emotion that Ed Harris was able to produce was stunning. Plus it was horrible having to watch Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio drown, so to see her come back was beautiful.
@@ghonko Make it 5 of us :) Still love this movie and I recognized the reference immetitly.
“Raisins” is my all time favorite episode. I was a goth/punk kid when that episode came out and the “beautiful sadness” monologue has been burned in my brain since.
This is definitely a case of a show, you don’t jump to conclusions on, because this show can have some wholesome moments
Despite Kyle's "screw you guys, I'm going home" I love that Michael of the Goth Kids stays friends with Stan
give me what the hell your smoking

Seeing Barbrady in such a rough condition, especially with his dog, broke my heart.🥺♥️
Same
Cartman brining Kyle back to life is taken from the movie Abyss. Almost word for word.
South Park is a fun show with hilarious, bizarre and most of all wholesome moments.
Butters' speech to his abusive pos grandma was one of the coolest ways to say 'f__k you' to someone
For it's Tweek vs. Craig. Mr. Adler misses his dead wife because he never goodbye. When Kenny died,he saw his dead wife. He told her he didn't feel better when he said goodbye to her. She's said "Saying goodbye doesn't mean anything,It's the time you spend with them"
I think a really touching moment is when Cartman saved Kyle’s life by giving him CPR. The fact that Eric Cartman knows CPR is very sweet
I wouldn't call it touching since the only reason he did that is because he wanted kyle to suck his balls
If kyle dies cartmans world crumble
@@skylineXpert remember when Kenny was gone for a whole episode not through death (excluding the very end)? 😉
I’d also include cartman sacrificing his happiness for the future in the special
Ok let's not forget he revived Kyle mostly to get him to suck his balls 😂
For me, Stan offering to donate his kidney to Kyle even though they weren’t compatible matches. It just goes to show he would do anything to save his super best friend ❤❤
I argree with you. That was probably my favorite moment of it. There is probably more I can add as well.

Feeling Pain. I Will Never Hide My Pain."
I like The List, where Stan is willing to put aside his animosity towards Wendy to ask her for help because Kyle is upset.
I can really relate to Stan’s Emotional Speech about the Covid Pandemic and all the Misery we went through while we were on Lockdown 😢
The one will always stick with me is the ending of the pandemic specials where Stan is now in the space force and when he comes home, he gives both is mom and Shelly a big hug.
It's like he is just legit happy to see them. ❤
I know it might not be funny but the fact that it’s “surprisingly” is pretty funny since it’s South Park lol
I'm already crying
I think the speech principal Victoria gave Wendy gave about breast cancer was super touching and deserved a spot on this list
Touching moments in SP is special because of what we are normally use to in the characters/show. I'm always in awe and in teary.
11:55 Cartman's statement to Kyle, although for a selfish reason, still hits hard. Cartman knows Kyle is a fighter (mostly against him); this is nothing to him.
Officer Barbrady's dog scene broke my heart

Kenny’s actual death made me cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The most touching was the Scott Tenorman's. I couldn't stop crying...
Thanks for the List and Video 😀
Number 13 needs to be number 1 I cried when Kenny died in that episode
Literally whenever Butters and Ike are on screen are when South Park are when it’s wholesome.
Chef didn't quit he had a stroke and couldn't speak for himself and died 3 days later.
12:00 mostly reminded me to the scene from abyss

Mr. Mackey and Miss Demeanor? It was a brief encounter, but nice.
The "Post Covid" special should be on here, either the "I forgive you" montage, or everyone meeting up again in the good future.

South park may be offensive as heck.. its heart is just as wide spread.
12:08 actually South Park was doing a call-back reference to The Abyss when Mastrantonio's character had drowned.
