ARM 3 es muy realista y con muy buenos efectos, es un juego bastante verocimil capaz de engañar al incauto y crédulo, cuando se intenta simular un verdadero combate aerero o aereo-terestre, salvo que las estrategias de combate son absurdas en muchos casos y que difícilmente en una guerra real llevaría a cabo pilotos reales, de cuyas vidas y aeronaves dependa ésta.
