Awesome video! I'm glad to see you on the gold like your brother. I like how you include some wildlife in your videos. Keep up the great work! Did you finish those necklaces for that family? Wish you the best. I need to make it back to the island. Haven't been there since 1986 when my family went there to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the meeting of Goerge Hunt (the chief of the Kwakiutl tribe in Alert Bay) and my great great grandfather, Franz Boas. (The father of modern American anthropology) He devised a written language for the tribe so they could record all of their oral lore. Was amazing. I was 13, and they threw a mock Potlatch where they did all the feasting for us without giving away everything they owned. Then, after the couple weeks spent between Alert Bay and Fort Rupert we got to got to Expo 86' over on the mainland where the tribe had an exhibit called Chiefly Feasts. Was really an amazing trip. Now I'd like to come up and look for some cool rocks!
Wow, what an experience for you. I’m jealous of the history and knowledge you have shared. I missed Expo ‘86 as I wasn’t yet born lol. Being in the natural habitat is my happy place and brings out the best in me. Being able to pan and search for rocks is an adventure and I’m enjoying learning as I go. I’ve started cutting and polishing more too lately. Haven’t been able to finish the necklaces they need holes & I still need to do some finishing polishing, but still on my list to learn other things, Thanks for your support.🤟
I love living in BC, everyone should try their hand at panning at least once. Never been diving for gold. Went out panning last weekend. BC is one of the best places in the world to do it. Pulled 3.8 grams out of a stream. You look like you are having a blast! Keep those videos coming.
It’s truly a dream man! I agree with that totally everyone should try it out & it can get cold time to time hahahah you should just rent a wet suit and give it a try when just to float around 🤷♂️ Wow, really good job my friend!! I love hearing about it & thanks for the support!!
