I like the garage style more laid back videos. TBH I think we have gotten spoiled with all the "here is my new turbo" 3 second later it's running and making rips. It ruins how much work actually went into making it happen. If you bust your butt and get it done in a day for a guy who needs it for work, and you post a video on it, now everyone wants it in a day... Also you're spot on about the loud turbo aka 9 blade stuff. It's cool and then it's for sure annoying lol. I can't stand being next to one anymore lol! Keep rocking in cali and enjoy the spare time you have with the family.

I know in the duramax community RDS is pretty big but thoughts on stainless, taterbuilt, Dans, etc. what is it that makes good vs bad?
Yup when I was 25 I loved loud lol. Now at 40... Not so much. My 5.9 is straight piped and I hate driving it because of that fart sound at 2300 rpm. My 6.7 swapped 05 is also straight piped but it doesn't make that obnoxious noise that the 5.9 does. Just a deep rumble. Maybe the 1.1 s400 turbine quiets it down or something. Anyway good stuff man I enjoy seeing the Duramax content.
I've had issues with that small turbo coolant rubber nipple they leak sometimes but I also seen them be ok , also had issues with the dummy plugs on these l5ps hopefully you don't
The thumbnail made it look like a ford. I thought I was the only one who ported out the exhaust housings. I port match everything and now cerakote. I have been hated on for everything I do... Yet with my limited funds and hackish abilities I am making even the fastest cars seem slow compared to what I build. Now if only I could get my trans to be as strong.
That polished Y-bridge goes hard AF! Dude is a magician. Cant wait for some better exhaust clips & your review on performance. Ive had my sights on this turbo for a long time now. BTW - did you get calibrated power intake horn? Ive heard many stories about turbo surge with WCF's
Second comment. Fass made a cat for the egr cooler line. Supposedly its Nazi Cali Legal. Might help withthe soot issues. Also water meth supposedly helps with egr issues. I would not know as I delete all that.

Haha, I'm 28 I had to put a muffler on my 2g swapped 6.7. It was too much for a daily.

I have the wc fab one. No issues. From what I can gather it's a tuning issue
if your turbo under load is dropping psi and doing this shut-shuta-shata-shata and building psi back up? is turbo undersized?
It's surging. Usually not enough energy in the turbine side
