I have some parsley I grew from seed, mixed into my flowerbed and it’s really pretty. Some of it is even turning a bright yellow. Your beds are always so beautiful and a joy to watch.
I live in Mpls! We have had a couple of frost. Planted 130 ColorBlend bulbs yesterday. 80 degrees yesterday, chance of snow tomorrow on Halloween! Beautiful video! Happy fall gardening! ❤
Hello Soleil. Hope your keeping well. I was visiting my mom for two weeks. Getting caught up on social videos. Maybe planting a couple of lavenders around your Oakleaf hydrangea. I find the deer don’t care for the scent. Might deter them from munching. 👩🏻🌾🍁🌾🌼🍂🦌
Your oakleaf hydrangea is gorgeous! I'm way behind on fall clean up, anxious to get my new tulip bulbs planted. Seems like there is way more garden work to do in the fall than the other seasons. And alas, it's raining here in the PNW.
Thank you for taking the time to share your garden with us. I love your fall garden colors. I was excited to see my summer wine ninebark turn such a pretty shade of red this fall. I'm also trying to add more evergreens. I planted so many bulbs last weekend that my arm and wrist were sore the next day. We're expecting a low of 25 here in NH a few days from now.
Your gardens are looking beautiful! I feel behind too. I think because it's been so warm. We have had three hard frosts in a row here in columbus ohio. So it's time to pull the annuals and dahlias and plant bulbs. We recently got a puppy so that's the other thing hindering me. He's cute but so much work! 😊
I enjoy the perennial mums in your garden. I have some yellow and purple ones that I will be dividing and moving around next spring. We get a ton of fall leaves that cover their beauty where I currently have them so I'll move my yellow ones up near my house where there are not as many leaves. Do you cut back your mums during the spring or summer? If so, when? Thanks for sharing your garden with us! 😊🌸
Hi, I cut them back usually in June, but always before the 4th of July. That works best in my zone. If you are asking about the dead foliage, I usually just get rid of it early spring.

What a fun idea with the parsley!
Yes we’ve had frost down here in the bottom of Michigan so the colors are pretty. The star of my garden is definitely Black Prince snapdragon.
They just keep going don't they?

Wow! 130 bulbs! That's a lot of color coming your way!

Sounds like you have been busy! It will be worth it when you see those come up next spring!

Puppies are so cute, but i understand how hard it can be to train them!!
Love the colors in your garden. Awesome.😊
It's such a fun time of year for color!

What beautiful autumn leaves!
Good morning, no frost yet in Chesapeake, VA zone 8a. Your garden looks pretty in the fall color display.
Thank you, Judy!
Your garden is what I aspire mine to be in future. I am only one year in so far. Can I ask: what kind of rocks do you use to edge your garden?
They are field stones mostly from farmers.
Your lawn is goooooog!oh the COLORS❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Angie!
Do you prune the flowers off the hydrangeas? 🌺🌾🍂
Yes I do! For the most part. I keep a few on the quickfire hydrangea for winter interest.
15:10 what is the purple tree and the name of your large evergreens?
That's a purple leaf plum and emerald green arborvitae. 💚
Your yucca plants in the containers look gorgeous! Are they cold hardy? Could you please share the name of the variety? Thanks!
Yes they are! Hardy down to zone 4 and they are called Golden Sword yucca.
Beautiful. What is the small blue evergreen near the golden tiara hostas?
That's a pinpoint blue false cypress it will get much larger over time to fill in the area.
What is that ground cover under your large tree?
Hmmmm....I am guessing you are asking about the vinca.
Do you store the garden decorations for winter too?
Which decorations? Some i leave out and some I store. Usually work on that in November.
❤🤩👍💪❤️
