    Using one also, very well built and I feel better about riding in gravel and right side tip overs. I also installed their tail tidy, it is very well built also. Thanks for your review.

    I installed one on my bike awhile back and it is well built and the brace really stiffens the mount up substantially. One bad mishap on the right side could get expensive. Good job bringing products that are very functional to your channel. I got my bike after you got yours and I quickly learned who to follow for information.

      Definitely a good thing to have. One broken radiator and you will wish you would have bought one. Ask me how I know lol

    Just installed one on my 300l I cut the top off my plastic factory one and put it back in place to keep the radiator cap covered

      No doubt, I have had a couple in other bikes but both nothing this good, CRFsOnly has a good deal on them to

    Thought about doing that. Interested to see how airflow is changed. As far as you feeling it.

      I rode it to town today and so far I can't tell a difference. It’s definitely well made for sure. The best one I have seen

      Yea trust me, I crashed my CR250 once and it smashed the radiator in, dumped all my antifreeze out immediately and I was stranded. I wish I would have had one then

    Are you worried about heat with the reduced air flow? I heard that the 300s were running hotter than the 250s (I'm getting mine in the spring, going from 250 Rally to 300 Rally).

      I haven't noticed a problem today and there are a lot of people who use them without any problems.

    I don’t like that metal bracket; I’d rather make one out of PA6; also I’d say the radiator is obstructed - I’d choose sth like a frame on the outer perimeter without that obstructing grille

    This guard is designed for street use only obviously. The way the front grill is made, it collects all dirt from front wheel and even makes it hard to clean. What you need is side directed fins like the original plastic cover has. These catch the dirt and let it fall down while directing the air in. Also this guard is needlessly heavy. Thick plates should be replaced by thinner profiled shapes for the same strength at the half weight.

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  8 місяців тому

      Well you say that but I have had this same guard on 3 bikes, rode in lots of mud and have had 0 issues. It’s not heavy at all. I wouldn’t do with out one

      @@WOODZMANthanks! I’ll like get one. I was wondering how much crash protection is really necessary. I have skid plate and wrap around zeta guards.

      If you ride in the woods, the radiator guard will keep a stick from going through the radiator, also is you fall over it can save your radiator

    Any idea if this guard will impede install of the acerbis 3.5 gal tank? CRFOnly site says "may" not work with aftermarket tank.

    • @WOODZMAN
      @WOODZMAN  Рік тому +1

      I don’t know that for sure on the 300L.
      I had the guard on my 250L with the IMS tank and I had to modify the rear support bracket on the guard to make it work but it wasn’t a problem
