Rest in peace Ms. Oslin. You provided my Mammaw with her all time favorite song with this one. I'm sure she and her girls of the 50s were happy to welcome you home. Thank you for your beautiful voice and your feisty attitude.
A striking, clever, insightful and elegant songwriter. Witty as hell, she was never anything less than a superb vocal stylist and classy broad. She deserved every award she hauled-in during her time in the limelight. Plus, she's living proof that talent can win "big" ... even when someone is allegedly past their due-date. And look --she's still got loads of charisma/stage presence. Hell yeah. R E S P E C T
Kenneth Billings ... and she died today. After a fine, long life (78 ain’t bad!) but she had struggled in show business for years before exploding into the marketplace. She did damned good. And she entered and exited the “big time” on her own terms. Plus she enjoyed her well-earned, early retirement back in the early ‘90s. Parkinson’s and COVID may have gotten her, but she made it big and lived life well. Bless her.
She was just amazing. She had it all. And her voice was very unique. In 2009 my kids and I were always riding the back roads in the country listening to real music. My girls loved 80s ladies as it was my Mammaw's favorite song. It reminder her of her life with her family and her two lifelong friends. Rest in peace Mammaw, Betty and Norma Jean and now, rest in peace Ms. Oslin. Thank you for you lovely voice!
You knocked out girl. In 1987 I was riding quarter horse race horses and I wore that tape out. I let my boss the trainer listen to it. You had that song on there Do Ya. He loved it. They had a colt bred to Kittaman when it was born they named him Kita do you. Him and his wife didn't have alot of money. But they owned the horse. They raised it. It won the Black Gold Futurity and made them 25 thousand dollars. Just because I had him listen to your tape. I know you will never get this. But it was really special to me.
What a great example of how to be a classy lady. She is the reason I got hooked on country music. What a talent, but never went to her. May god bless this wonderful lady
Oh my, how graceful she still is. I've missed this lady and albeit a few years old, it's wonderful to see this video. It brought tears to my eyes to think of what once was, and what is now. And I mean that in the most endearing way possible. I have loved this lady since I can remember, close to 33 years, and I will forever hold her close to my heart. Thank you for uploading!
Still one of the best. The most under rated female country artist of our time. She is AMAZING. God bless you sweet lady. Pray Christ blesses you with good health
This song, I swear, was written for my two sisters. One sister bought me a ticket to see K.T. at the Indiana State Fair. That sister fell over & passed away from a heart attack in 2020. I forgot about my extreme crush on K.T. Oslin; I melted.
Such an absolutely original and one-of-kind, unique and interesting woman. Could listen to her music all day. And she had great legs to boot. There ain’t nobody quite like Miss K.T. Oslin.
Does she say, Hi my name is Connie, I’m gonna marry Julie... I was there right in front and if she said this i Missed it. It would be so excellent. Can’t tell if it’s Julie or Joey. But in my mind it’s Julie. ;) I know its Charlie...yet- it sounded different this time.
Maria Gianas "C my name is Connie, I'm gonna marry Charlie, we're gonna sell cars and live in California.". Could be "Charly" (I know a girl who spells her name that way....if that's what want to get out if that part of the song.
Rest in peace, KT. That voice now sings for the angels.
Still kicking ass. I miss her so very much. RIP beautiful lady.
Wow! KT Oslin still looks as beautiful & gorgeous as ever. She's been my hero since the 1980's. Love you still! KT.

My name is Connie I'm gonna marry Charlie.
pitiful no wonder she just stopped singing
idiot
You do realize she's in her early 70's here, right? She's had major health issues. How dare you speak so crudely about Ms. K.T.!
I'll take a true, class act performance over lip singing trickery any day. KT is KT. She's tops in my book!
i sure love the 80s ladies i even married one .
Stop with rude comment. She’s been battling Parkinson’s. Geez.
damn girl!!! still got it!!! Bless your Heart!!!!
