Nice drama. I cried when Xiaoyao was healed by Xiang Liu and then he failed to appear at the time of sending her back. And when Xiaoyao went away with Tushan Jing, she left Xiang Liu and told Tushan Jing to leave him alone. Xiang Liu did a lot for Xiaoyao but never said. He also loves her but could not tell her. I'm waiting for the second season in which I want to see Xiang Liu and Xiaoyao together.
His walk was so heartbreaking when xiyao go along with Jian telling him to leave Xiang lu alone. He gave her so many clues that he loves and yearn for her but she ain't picking on any 😢

Lost you Forever was surprisingly much better than what I expected. Is a compilation of greatness in all aspects. Great script, great Director"s work, great Cast, Great performances of all actors, beautiful landscaping and photography, great costumes, terrific soundtrack.....I always had faith on Grandpa"s common sense and intelligence to select the Crown Prince. He did better.... abdicating on Cang Xuan's favor. The relationship that Xiao Yao and grandpa built was the best. I'll be waiting for Season 2. ❤

I was hesitant to watch this drama but once I did, I was addicted. Then I read the translated book. No wonder the movie is so good. Every chapter was riveting. The actresses and actors did an awesome portrayal. Can’t wait to see part 2.

so with this story Its got me thinking, I need and want three men I’m my life. one for stability and long time bond (Xuan) one for heart’s love (ShiQi) and one for all the excitement (Xiang Liu) 😍 this story has been so interesting and the actors ~ I mean I felt like I was there! cannot wait for the 2 series 🤩

I tip my 🎩 and give Grandfather a huge 🙇♂️!! I kept wondering if he knew about the elite troops Xuan had. This episode let us experience awesome writing, acting, direction, and the ability of the actor portrayed by Grandfather!! 👏👏👏 Bravo! I'm so excited for season 2.

So far this year I've loved Till the End of the Moon and Lost You Forever the most! Got to see Deng Wei ❤️ and Yang Zi again, discover Tan Jianci and Zhang Wanyi as well as so many other great cast members ❤️ Great Music! Bring on Season 2! 🥰
Love this drama so much. The acting, music and overall production is really good. For me Lost You Forever is the best drama of 2023. I look forward to S2 being as good as S1 and continues to closely follow the translated book since it has now passed review and will hopefully be able to see it before the end of the year.

I learned a lot of Chinese culture and traditions here. Also the costumes and cinematography is epic, I never watched Chinese drama before but after watching this one, I’ve watched also Till the end of the moon, these 2 dramas had Deng Wei’s beautiful costumes and roles! I can’t stop following him from now on 😂
I feel bad for Xiang Liu and Jing. They both love Xiaoyao more than anything. But what did they expect? You have one who has shown his love and confessed his feelings so many times but was torn between his love for her and his family. You have one who keeps his love to himself but shows it in his own way. I mean, what was she supposed to do. Wait for one of them to step up, and then everything will be alright. Wait for them to handle whatever they have going on so they can be together. No. That's not how love works. I hope they learn and understand what real love is in season 2.
Xiang Liu is torn too, between his love and what he percieves as his duty. He knows he will go down with the Chenrong army and from what I am seeing, he is preparing her to be selfreliant and alone. To be able to protect herself, to have a place to go and to have someone to take care of her. Two out of three done allready. My guess is he will push Jing at her again. What a tragedy. I would have preferred a happy end for them both. What I really don't like is the way she is just drifting, instead of taking charge of her life. She is torn too. Let's see what season 2 brings.
Xiang liu will die with his army, and it's his choice too. Xiao yao tried her best to make him reconsider the peace talk... I don't understand what that stupid Gen. Huan wants... no people, no king, no land..what is he fighting for!? Even so.. what is the fault of Xiang liu.. just because he is the saviour, doesn't give him the right to make XL a slave again! I hate that gen.
Finished the drama in 3 days...i cant get over it without watching the season 2. I personally love Tushan jing/Den Wei and the FL/Yan Zhi's pure love. The unconditional love Tushan Jing offers to the FL is something one woman desires to have in her life. It broke my heart when Tushan Jing married to that evil woman out of conspiracy. I am eagarly waiting to watch the season 2 and really hope everything get cleaned between their relationship in season 2. And i would love them to have a happy ending. They both deserves to love each other after enduring so much.... On personal note again, Den Wei has become one of my favorites (Xu Kai, Yang Yang) already. I have watched him in other dramas: miss the dragon, Till the moon ends..love him to see in a lead role very soon....

Grandpa is so smart ! I love the way he tricked them all 😂😂,my Xiaoyao is ready to shoot her arrow at Deyan if the grandpa mistakenly choose him as the King 😂😂😂. This drama is very interesting because there's no difference between the IMMORTALS, HUMANS and DEMONS, everyone lives in harmony. My summary about the drama is........-) I think Xiaoyao is the woman that Cang Xuan has deep feelings for, Aside from the feelings of brother and sister,I can always see his sad reactions anytime Xiaoyao is with another man,but he can't confess his feelings for her due to the closeness between them so therefore he can only concede his feelings and maintain that brother and sister zone 🙂🙂 I still don't understand the kind of feelings Xiang Liu has for Xiaoyao, because sometimes he's willing to save her and sometimes he's willing to kill her 😟😟 he's quite a complicated man 🤔but he is very pitiful sometimes 😔 he always tried his best to make her happy but she didn't share same feelings with him,I hope he can try his luck to win her back next season. Tushan Jing is too softhearted and dense 😞😞 that's why he lost Xiaoyao, he only channel his energy in being with Xiaoyao but failed to see what's going on around him. He is too easy to blackmail with fake emotions 😑😑, and that his grandma is annoying too 😔 I don't wanna believe that he is the one responsible for Fangfeng Yiying's child. I think the pregnancy is a planwork between Tushan Hou and Fangfeng Yiying with grandma,but grandma didn't know that there was something between Hou and Fangfeng. They're having a secret relationship and nobody knows about it, that's insane😮😮.I hope the truth will come out soon and I hope Tushan Jing can be more decisive, strong,bold and sharp in the next season because his brother will definitely plan a rebellion and I don't think it's possible for him to win Xiaoyao back again. THIS IS ANOTHER VICTORIOUS EPISODE FOR CANG XUAN AND XIAOYAO. THEIR GRANDFATHER ABDICATES HIMSELF TO LET CANG XUAN TO BE THE KING and the face of DEYAN, the schemer, the evil, cunning, jealous fifth king was epic. A total disappointment and defeat really showed how he got TRICKED BY HIS OWN FATHER. The scene where Fenglong proposes to Xiaoyao like she was his buddy --was hilarious--❤. Can Xuan’s reaction towards Xiaoyao’s willingness to marry Fenglong with her knowledge---he cried 😢because he wants Xiaoyao to himself because of their promise together--WE WILL BE TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE. Perhaps ---it is because he do loves Xiaoyao--unrequited love? Xiang Liu’s reaction when he learned about the proposal of Fenglong to Xiaoyao----I guess there will be another VICTORIOUS episode for tomorrow or another bombshell that is going to happen. This series is full of twists and turns that am always waiting anxiously for tomorrow’s episode. Thank you--very satisfying ❤

This drama should have been called 'Love ❤️ isn't easy' or 'Love don't run smooth.' Just from Xiaoyao's character... She has 2 men already in love with her. The reason I'm not adding Cang Xuan is because it's obvious he's in love with her, too. You can tell by his face. But I don't think Xiaoyao sees him that way. She only sees him as a brother, and he doesn't fit her type of man. Now add Fenglong to her harem. I understand why she agreed to marry him. He seems like a nice guy and seems to really want to get to know her and maybe fall in love with her. Even though it was love at first sight for him. I just wish she didn't agree yet. In my opinion, she needs to just go somewhere by herself where she can be alone. No men. Just her by herself where she can clear her head and think and figure her feelings out. Figure out what sge wants. To me, it just seems like her agreeing to marry Fenglong is rushed. It feels like she's just using Fenglong as an excuse to get over Jing and help Cang Xuan. Seriously, she could have left on a journey and then gotten engaged to Fenglong at the beginning of season 2.

35:50 I have a dream speech. The king actually said "I want all the races of Dahuang to EQUALLY （平等地）choose their own life", not "freely" as translated in the subtitle . This is hinting that Cangxuan would be the new king, because equality is the political view of Cangxuan, not his 5th uncle's.
Xiao Yao always see cousin brother as her brother and not a potential lover. But she find both Tushan Jing and Xian Liu attractive. And she has given many chances to both men. although both of them also attracted to her, they express it in two different ways. although attracted, deep down Xian Liu, doesn't want her enough to make her stay with him. That's why he doesn't get angry with Jing or about his relationship with Xiaoyao. Xian Liu's nature is bit cruel and heartless. This drives Xiaoyao away from him every time she try to get closer. Surprisingly, he himself push her towards Jing many times. On the other hand everytime jing comes to her he accept her and love her without any boundaries. She finds Tushan Jing's gentle and caring ways so attractive and loving. It soothe her troubled mind with a difficult past. All she wants is to have a loving man who will be with her making her priority in his life. Neither Cousin brother, Xian Liu nor Fang can give what she wants as their priorities in life is not love, but power, wealth and success. If not for the cruel fiancée of Jing, he would have been the ideal candidate for Xiaoyao. ❤ Anyway altogether its a beautiful drama and all actors are super and do justice to their characters.Looking forward for season 2. ❤❤❤❤❤️

At the swing shows everyone that Xuan is 100% romantically in love with his cousin. There are commentors that still don't see this. Those that deny he hasn't those feelings are now blind to what is on the screen. No man will ever be good enough for her.................except him, in his secret mind. He has loved her that way since childhood. Also in his mind she is his "1st wife", he just won't let that be known to her/anyone in this season. Also, certain scenes were shown in clips or other videos/not in any full episodes and one of them was a scene with both of them in a older house. With Xuan on the floor gripping the blade part of Xiao Yao's knife as she held it towards him as Xuan declared he liked her romantically and wanted to be with her. That scene had her crying out in frustration when he told her that. No where is that scene in this first season. So it must be in the next season.
I typed it wasn't in any of this season eps so must be in season 2 eps. I went to the Tencent channels and watched the various short videos they have on the series. Also I saw of vid of where Xuan and her were in the leaf tree forest in a very short clip again and her words were something like this as she said to Xuan "you killed Jing......so I will/or must (can't remember which one) kill you". I wouldn't type this as it is a spoiler but as I saw that scene at least 6 other times so it must be in 2nd season too.@@bigworldexploration777
I'm satisfied with this part 1 ending really good I already knew the King had chosen Cang Xuan he was definitely the best pick for a King 5th and 7th King wouldn't be good at all. Side note how all the men received the news of Xiaoyao's marriage was done good as well come to think of it Xiaoyao spit blood after her first serious heartbreak which was built on a lie but the men in her life literally face heartbreak everytime they see her with someone which is quite often I really felt the tears Xuan dropped though I think he shouldn't have nutured the love cause he himself knows its not likely. I also loved how Jing told Liu, how the recognize each other as competitors is admirable. The abdication was beautifully done best I've seen in the time watching cdrama they always be fighting to the death this was refreshing and to think in the beginning they said the Kings rule was autocratic and dictatorship

Love this drama so much. The acting, music and overall production is really good. For me Lost You Forever is the best drama of 2023. I look forward to S2 being as good as S1 and continues to closely follow the translated book since it has now passed review and will hopefully be able to see it before the end of the year.

I learned a lot of Chinese culture and traditions here. Also the costumes and cinematography is epic, I never watched Chinese drama before but after watching this one, I’ve watched also Till the end of the moon, these 2 dramas had Deng Wei’s beautiful costumes and roles! I can’t stop following him from now on 😂

I feel bad for Xiang Liu and Jing. They both love Xiaoyao more than anything. But what did they expect? You have one who has shown his love and confessed his feelings so many times but was torn between his love for her and his family. You have one who keeps his love to himself but shows it in his own way. I mean, what was she supposed to do. Wait for one of them to step up, and then everything will be alright. Wait for them to handle whatever they have going on so they can be together. No. That's not how love works. I hope they learn and understand what real love is in season 2.

Xiang Liu is torn too, between his love and what he percieves as his duty. He knows he will go down with the Chenrong army and from what I am seeing, he is preparing her to be selfreliant and alone. To be able to protect herself, to have a place to go and to have someone to take care of her. Two out of three done allready. My guess is he will push Jing at her again. What a tragedy. I would have preferred a happy end for them both. What I really don't like is the way she is just drifting, instead of taking charge of her life. She is torn too. Let's see what season 2 brings.
Xiang liu will die with his army, and it's his choice too. Xiao yao tried her best to make him reconsider the peace talk... I don't understand what that stupid Gen. Huan wants... no people, no king, no land..what is he fighting for!? Even so.. what is the fault of Xiang liu.. just because he is the saviour, doesn't give him the right to make XL a slave again! I hate that gen.

Finished the drama in 3 days...i cant get over it without watching the season 2. I personally love Tushan jing/Den Wei and the FL/Yan Zhi's pure love. The unconditional love Tushan Jing offers to the FL is something one woman desires to have in her life. It broke my heart when Tushan Jing married to that evil woman out of conspiracy. I am eagarly waiting to watch the season 2 and really hope everything get cleaned between their relationship in season 2. And i would love them to have a happy ending. They both deserves to love each other after enduring so much....
On personal note again, Den Wei has become one of my favorites (Xu Kai, Yang Yang) already. I have watched him in other dramas: miss the dragon, Till the moon ends..love him to see in a lead role very soon....

I still don't understand the kind of feelings Xiang Liu has for Xiaoyao, because sometimes he's willing to save her and sometimes he's willing to kill her 😟😟 he's quite a complicated man 🤔but he is very pitiful sometimes 😔 he always tried his best to make her happy but she didn't share same feelings with him,I hope he can try his luck to win her back next season.
Tushan Jing is too softhearted and dense 😞😞 that's why he lost Xiaoyao, he only channel his energy in being with Xiaoyao but failed to see what's going on around him. He is too easy to blackmail with fake emotions 😑😑, and that his grandma is annoying too 😔 I don't wanna believe that he is the one responsible for Fangfeng Yiying's child. I think the pregnancy is a planwork between Tushan Hou and Fangfeng Yiying with grandma,but grandma didn't know that there was something between Hou and Fangfeng. They're having a secret relationship and nobody knows about it, that's insane😮😮.I hope the truth will come out soon and I hope Tushan Jing can be more decisive, strong,bold and sharp in the next season because his brother will definitely plan a rebellion and I don't think it's possible for him to win Xiaoyao back again.
Fenglong is a good and straightforward man, I'm looking forward to his marriage with Xiaoyao but I don't think it's gonna work, because Xiaoyao's heart belongs to Tushan Jing and she can't seem to move on even if she tried to, the past memories of them will always come back. I just wish them happiness and ability to overcome any situation they meet themselves 😊😊

THIS IS ANOTHER VICTORIOUS EPISODE FOR CANG XUAN AND XIAOYAO. THEIR GRANDFATHER ABDICATES HIMSELF TO LET CANG XUAN TO BE THE KING and the face of DEYAN, the schemer, the evil, cunning, jealous fifth king was epic. A total disappointment and defeat really showed how he got TRICKED BY HIS OWN FATHER.
The scene where Fenglong proposes to Xiaoyao like she was his buddy --was hilarious--❤.
Can Xuan’s reaction towards Xiaoyao’s willingness to marry Fenglong with her knowledge---he cried 😢because he wants Xiaoyao to himself because of their promise together--WE WILL BE TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE. Perhaps ---it is because he do loves Xiaoyao--unrequited love?
Xiang Liu’s reaction when he learned about the proposal of Fenglong to Xiaoyao----I guess there will be another VICTORIOUS episode for tomorrow or another bombshell that is going to happen. This drama should have been called 'Love ❤️ isn't easy' or 'Love don't run smooth.' Just from Xiaoyao's character... She has 2 men already in love with her. The reason I'm not adding Cang Xuan is because it's obvious he's in love with her, too. You can tell by his face. But I don't think Xiaoyao sees him that way. She only sees him as a brother, and he doesn't fit her type of man. Now add Fenglong to her harem. I understand why she agreed to marry him. He seems like a nice guy and seems to really want to get to know her and maybe fall in love with her. Even though it was love at first sight for him. I just wish she didn't agree yet. In my opinion, she needs to just go somewhere by herself where she can be alone. No men. Just her by herself where she can clear her head and think and figure her feelings out. Figure out what sge wants. To me, it just seems like her agreeing to marry Fenglong is rushed. It feels like she's just using Fenglong as an excuse to get over Jing and help Cang Xuan. Seriously, she could have left on a journey and then gotten engaged to Fenglong at the beginning of season 2.

Surprisingly, he himself push her towards Jing many times. On the other hand everytime jing comes to her he accept her and love her without any boundaries. She finds Tushan Jing's gentle and caring ways so attractive and loving. It soothe her troubled mind with a difficult past. All she wants is to have a loving man who will be with her making her priority in his life. Neither Cousin brother, Xian Liu nor Fang can give what she wants as their priorities in life is not love, but power, wealth and success. If not for the cruel fiancée of Jing, he would have been the ideal candidate for Xiaoyao. ❤ Anyway altogether its a beautiful drama and all actors are super and do justice to their characters.Looking forward for season 2. ❤❤❤❤❤️

At the swing shows everyone that Xuan is 100% romantically in love with his cousin. There are commentors that still don't see this. Those that deny he hasn't those feelings are now blind to what is on the screen.
No man will ever be good enough for her.................except him, in his secret mind. He has loved her that way since childhood. Also in his mind she is his "1st wife", he just won't let that be known to her/anyone in this season.
Also, certain scenes were shown in clips or other videos/not in any full episodes and one of them was a scene with both of them in a older house. With Xuan on the floor gripping the blade part of Xiao Yao's knife as she held it towards him as Xuan declared he liked her romantically and wanted to be with her. That scene had her crying out in frustration when he told her that. No where is that scene in this first season. So it must be in the next season.
Yes he loves her deeply (romantically). I could see it throughout s1, particularly when he was jealous of Jing.

I typed it wasn't in any of this season eps so must be in season 2 eps. I went to the Tencent channels and watched the various short videos they have on the series.
Also I saw of vid of where Xuan and her were in the leaf tree forest in a very short clip again and her words were something like this as she said to Xuan "you killed Jing......so I will/or must (can't remember which one) kill you". I wouldn't type this as it is a spoiler but as I saw that scene at least 6 other times so it must be in 2nd season too.@@bigworldexploration777

I'm satisfied with this part 1 ending really good I already knew the King had chosen Cang Xuan he was definitely the best pick for a King 5th and 7th King wouldn't be good at all. Side note how all the men received the news of Xiaoyao's marriage was done good as well come to think of it Xiaoyao spit blood after her first serious heartbreak which was built on a lie but the men in her life literally face heartbreak everytime they see her with someone which is quite often I really felt the tears Xuan dropped though I think he shouldn't have nutured the love cause he himself knows its not likely. I also loved how Jing told Liu, how the recognize each other as competitors is admirable.
The abdication was beautifully done best I've seen in the time watching cdrama they always be fighting to the death this was refreshing and to think in the beginning they said the Kings rule was autocratic and dictatorship
