I'd be super interested on a cost analysis of the tunnel.
@@Problimatic that much huh?
I thought he had added this to one of the previous videos on the main channel... Maybe when he got to the end of phase 1... He listed out all of the metals costs and concrete work. I could be misremembering though.
@@Jacob-5949no I don’t think you are, unless a mandala effect is in play I also remember him doing that
@@Jacob-5949 you're probably right, and if not, at least I will enjoy rewatching lol
@@Kryptic95823 I was half right... He lists the amount of materials but not the cost. If you were fully invested I'm sure you could get some average costs and do the math.

Colin is not the only one digging. I, too, digg those videos.
Loving this new channel 👌
I love this second channel! Thanks for sharing the hard work, which is the part I'm interested in. Kudos to Rick, because I know how hard you guys are working.
It's great for seeing more Colin's videos again when it comes to about his underground tunnel system and new future house projects that he can truly could do while making more fun for anyone to given it a shot for it of improving their own houses for being inspired to do so while also doing it in a safe and reasonable ways to do it.👍
I admire your commitment to this ambitious idea Colin! It’s hard to keep motivated when you get hurt but it seems like you slapped a bandage on and kept going which is awesome. Godspeed sir and we’d all understand if you wanted a safety helmet to accompany your safety tie lol
I don't know if this is weird but when I get injured doing some serious work around the house I like it.
It's like a well earned battle scar.
Obviously staying safe is important however!
@@butterphli3z Haha that’s a good way to think about it!
Just saw the first ep. of the tunnel and I'm hooked!! Subscribed to both your channels! Can't wait for more tunnel content! So cool!!🤘🏼
Excellent to see you building again !! Looking forward to seeing it progress
Hell yeah Colin! Glad you're still going strong with the project. I know how hard it is to keep a multi-year thing such as this going wtih the amount of passion you have.
You are pure inspiration, such human ingenuity! Such passion! Really helps me feel like I'm capable of so much watching someone do the impossible mostly by themself!
Loooooook at all the digging you saved your back this is the Best channel that I’ve ever found and you have a Great personality Keep up the great work I REALLY DIG YOU 😜👍
Wanted to ask this for a while, seems finally like the right place and time!
Digging back to the foundations, sometimes underneath them a bit, I've wondered about how the downward pressure from the house would cause slow subsidence if you've dug out a chunk of the supporting ground around them. Did you get an engineer to take a look and suggest strategies to make this safe over the long term?
Cheers 👍
Hes' going to back fill the tunnel area with concrete like the rest of the tunnel, so it should be fine. Also he did get an engineer to look at it, and planning permission.
I thought he was a plumber?
Imagine the home insurance questionnaire.
@@ItsDoms He isn't an engineer. He's just a plumber with an insane amount of free time, and wacky ideas.
@pianoman1894 And a hell of alot of knowledge and skill
lots of respect for doing so much labor on your own. I'm surprised the hydraulic fitting on that tool hasn't snapped from you pulling on it. Maybe putting a handle on it is not a bad idea? On a side note whenever I see someone undergoing a crazy project like this I have urge to want to help, Wish I could be in the mines with you Colin. Stay safe!
Never once expected to see someone actually build out a tunnel of their own and make it look so nice, that is amazing, hopefully you can go as crazy as you want and make a whole network of tunnels you need and maybe even a bunker if you don't already have one XD
He already has one. 😁 In his backyard.
The videos are somewhere on his main channel.
Just realised this underground tunnel and bunker will probably be around longer than colin or any one else ...its almost like its own time capsule for someone to discover in the future imagine buying that house and finding that underneath be a right treat ... keep safe colin
Let's Dig! 🙂 Glad to see the Project Phase is in progress, stay safe guys! Woo Hoo can't wait for the updates.
I don’t think people actually realise how much work this is, it’s insane!!!
Hello 👋 😊
I didn't know I loved tunnel content, but here I am. Always happy with more Furze.
All that digging without so much as a safety tie! Sketchy indeed 😂. Awesome stuff as always Colin
And that's how he got hurt!
Love the content Colin. So missed your tunnel videos, can't wait for more.
LETS GO ! we loves those tunnel vids . thanks for the time and energy you put into it all .
I’ve been following you making this project for years I love it you’ve literally made your own Batcave, it’s fantastic😊
Kept it up Colin you’re an inspiration to many even across the pond.
My amazement at the whole tunnel process is only dwarfed by the fact the handles haven't ripped off those tubs!
It is going to interesting to see how quickly Colin's new channel followers grows. I'm so looking forward to the content here. I'm wishing Colin every success with this channel. Just for the record, the first video was released 43 mins ago and the channel already has 30.6k subs. Could this be the fastest ever silver play button?
Yeah, 1 day, 100k. I think he'll blow up to 1 million + within a week and get to 10 mill pretty quickly.
153k as of now
So much effort! This is wild!
Your projects are just as awesome!
This is awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! I'm super looking forward to seeing how this project progresses!!!!
Colin: *Doesnt wear hard hat or saftey glasses*
Also Colin: 5:37 *surprised pikachu face*
It's crazy that Colin has been doing crazy stuff on the internet for 16 years
I would legitimately love to hang out on a livestream watching these happen in real time, and then having biweekly compilations in case I missed any streams…😂
It's be interesting to see if Colin picks up on this - he'll say we're mad but the existence of it would just be a laugh!
Huzzah for a dedicated tunnel channel so that you can keep these updates and consolidate stuff for the main channel! Hope it goes smoothly for ya!!
@Colin Furze: One Solid reason for going straight up with the spoils..... Less sweat and sore muscles.
I'm so excited for this! Thank you Colin
Love the tunnel episodes. Being a Drainage and Subs Engineer I did giggle when you showed the soakaway drain. I come across them daily. Also particularly enjoyed the part when entering the house. Keep up the good work Colin.
What's better than a Colin Furze channel? 2 Colin Furze channels! So happy for the channel dig day! I think you should have had a mining helmet with your safety tie for protection.great stuff as usual!
The second channel is redundant and it is quite confusing to have the same content in 2 different places. It would be nice to be able to go to one channel to get updates and new content. I absolutely love your channel-the content and projects are great, but it’s YOU and your comic bits, your weirdness, idiosyncratic mannerisms, and personality that make it so that I have frequent belly laughs while watching. Keep it up. It’s my favorite UA-cam channel now. MOST ENTERTAINING!!!!
Hello Mr. Gary how are you doing 😊
