How can a group of people be so weak and selfish that they think they're the only ones to ever experience hardship in life
Narcissism from adolescent abuse
They think white people are better than them or they're being paid by the demokkkrat party to say this nonsense.
This is the best question I've ever heard ,thank you brother ,can I use your quote later ? Thanks take care

@Darth DUGGA his point is that it does not exist or has never existed the way it is loudly proclaimed today. I believe he would say that traditionally defined racism has always existed but not any more or less than it ever has and also that it is not a special thing done by a particular race - all humans have equal propensity to be racist just like anything else - basically humans are all the same.

~Racism~
First, one must know the true definition of racism; most do not.
The problem is that most whites & others see racism as not liking someone because of the color of their skin & conscious hate-when racism is bigger than that. Racism is a complex system of social and political levers and pulleys set up generations ago to continue working on the behalf of whites at other people’s expense, whether whites know/like it or not. These are the systems that can marginalize & suppress-keep an entire race down socially, economical & politically, as well as send them to prison by the millions. Commonly known as Systematic Oppression & Systemic Racism, created & implemented by who? Whites, & we r nor blaming “All” whites, rather specifically the Powers That Be-hundreds of years ago. Historically & up til present day Blacks & other races of color have no such System(s) to do this, thus we cannot be racist. Now, we can be biased, prejudice & bigots, however, we cannot be racist, because we don’t have a system that can keep another race down as explained above. I will add...Many governments are made up of people who are greedy, love power, domination, control, full of corruption & don’t do right for & by the people they govern.
Racism is an insidious cultural disease. It is so insidious that it doesn’t care if you are a white person who likes Black people; it’s still going to find a way to infect how you deal with people who don’t look like you.
Yes, racism looks like hate, but hate is just one manifestation. Privilege is another. Access is another. Ignorance is another. Apathy is another, and so on. So while I agree with people who say no one is born racist, it remains a powerful system that we’re immediately born into. It’s like being born into air: you take it in as soon as you breathe. It’s not a cold that you can get over. There is no anti-racist certification class. It’s a set of socioeconomic traps and cultural values that are fired up every time we interact with the world. It is a thing you have to keep scooping out of the boat of your life to keep from drowning in it. I know it’s hard work, but it’s the price that whites pay for owning everything.
The “System” is well oiled, still in place & working for those it’s meant to work against & for. We are in 2020, why has it not been dismantled yet? The Beast is constantly hungry & it’s got to be fed.

How a out his "answers", what say you of them?
@@carlfrye1566 I guess I'm just tired of listening to race hustlers like Michael Dyson who go out of their way to intimidate and twist conversations in an extremely dishonest way. As far as this Rasta professor's answers, they covered a lot of issues. That said, I think his central position that you can't be racist if you don't have power, I think that's ridiculous. He is changing the definition of the word racism to his own pet definition which isn't how words work and that's annoying. Anyone can be racist if they dislike or have disgust for people of a certain race. Of course. So stupid. That said, Jesse's view that there is no racism in America is equally silly. For instance, there is an epidemic of black racism against whites in our country today (encouraged by the race hustlers and democratic politicians).
@@carlfrye1566 Yes, he's worthy of listening too because he's respectful and explains his positions. Contrast this guy with someone like Michael Dyson (who uses intimidation and mind games). If people stop talking, that's when war starts where almost everyone loses. As far as his arguments go, one main one is he claims that you can't be racist if you don't have power. That's silly and wrong. You can't just decide that the word "racism" means something that you want it to me to serve your political agenda. Racism is discrimination and prejudice towards people based on their race or ethnicity. Period. It has NOTHING to do with power. Now, if you want to say that racism is more brutal when its applied by powerful people against poor people, fine. Say that instead. So, no, I don't agree with much of what this guy said but I respect the fact that he's willing to engage in a dialogue that will hopefully allow us to explain to him why his arguments are false.
@WBMservices no, racism is rooted in power. Prejudice and racism are not the same thing. He gave a great example about not liking someone because they wear a size 13 shoe. That's being prejudiced. However if he kept that person from being able to work or advance equally because he didn't like folks who wear size 13 shoes, than that would be "racism" insofar as shoe size could be labeled as race (for example purposes).

16:56 - I never got this argument about having 'no power' ..so, can't be racist. The professor comes across as level headed. So why doesn't he realise he does have all the power he needs for such thoughts and actions ( 'power structures' have never had much to do with it). He's a strong, intelligent man ..until he suddenly has 'no power'. Amazing
Also, the fact he has a degree in Slavery ..that only seems to have included his own race. How can the guy have a true world perspective on the subject. Slavery has been with us from the very start (in some form), stretching across the entire world. It was slave power that held up the ancient world (untill the industrial revolution spread across the world). And, is sadly still seen in Africa (and elsewhere) today. How can the trade ever stop, if people at degree level don't learn all the in and out of that evil trade.

School funding is based on how many students are there. Not based on zip code.
Daniel Barker - yes and no. School funding is often based on property taxes meaning the OWNER of property pays. In cases like proposition 13, the property owner gets locked into the taxes based on the value of the property when they purchased it.
Generally, you are correct though. Even if there is low home ownership among the student's parents, the property owner pays but typically, real estate value is lower in areas with high rental rates. (Da Hood) lower real estate values equals less property taxes.
With section eight vouchers blacks are in every town in America, so that excuse is out the window.
@@kekistanipatriot1644 sure the taxes for it are collected through property taxes and other means but they are distributed to the schools based on how many students go to the school. Some schools get $7,500 per student others get 15000 that is all up to the state and local governments to disperse the money but it is nearly always dispersed as a per student ratio not by neighborhood
Daniel Barker - As I said, yes and no, meaning correct and incorrect. Its probably more accurate to say "average daily attendance" than "per pupil" or "how many students"
On the flip side, the federal government pays for Special Ed and ESL so MORE federal funding goes to these but this federal money is DEDICATED for its intended purpose/program.
It is absolutely correct to say low income "neighborhoods" often receive less funding both because of daily attendence and LOCAL property taxes.
Daily attendance money is how TEACHERS are paid but local property taxes (and/or bonds) are how SCHOOLS/INFRASTRUCTURE are funded.
Average Daily Attendance (ADA) money is a pot of money - a GENERAL budget. (It pays for both TEACHERS and CLASSROOM/INFRASTRUCTURE. )
Let's say your kid is a good student who goes to school every day but you live in a neighborhood with a high number of knuckleheads who cut or renters who move or mirgrant workers (and/or illegals) who move in and out during the school year.
Your kid's school will end up being short changed. This "Average Daily Attendance" (ADA) money goes to TEACHER SALARIES with less left over for the CLASSROOM/FACILITIES.
On average, that only accounts for something like a 10-20% difference in funding which is often made up by FEDERAL funding through special ed, ESL, etc. but again this is DEDICATED funding that CANNOT be used for other purposes.
The bigger funding difference comes in the form of INFRASTRUCTURE (often in the form of bonds) Bonds are LOCAL and strickly tied to property values/taxes.
Let's say your kid is NOT Special Ed or ESL (English as a second language)
Your kid (or the average student) will NOT benefit from federal funding.
Your kid (or the average student) will be hurt by STATE dispersed funding due to the lower ADA of other students.
Likewise, a 2% infrastructure bond in a low income neighborhood is dramatically different than a 2% infrastructure bond in a wealthy/high property value neighborhood
Daniel Barker - NONE of this is to insinuate an unfair or "racist" funding system. In fact, many lawsuits have been thrown out by the courts.
There are plenty of citizens in California that are Of Hispanic and also of Japanese origin. The average Japanese Californian citizen makes triple that of Hispanics each year. Racism ? How about if I give more info ? The average age of Hispanics in Calif is 23. Japanese in Calif have an average age of 51. Careful what you ASSume is racism and not other important factors such as average level of formal education or lack of widespread gang culture.
Thanks for another great interview. I hope he learnt something 👍
I will say this guy sat down and had a real discussion. He didn’t walk out like some.
Amazin'!
Ask him how can the clan be racist, they don't have any power. Who are they denying a job?
SGT Haze
It’s spelled as the klan man. The hint was in the name “kkk.” Lmfao.
You didn’t hear, you have a right to a job wherever you want, and a livable wage, and health care, and education, and welfare, and safety/protection, and internet access, and a cell phone, and housing, etc., etc., and if anyone waffles or bristles about providing all these “rights” to you then they are raysiiist and eevul!
What is a right and what is a privilege has been utterly confused, leading many to a flawed ethical and legal frame.
EvilShake101
They exist so long as people are willing to shed blood for them, sweetheart.
EvilShake101 Only if the righteous relent. Evil (shake) can only exist when good men do nothing.
Their power is in their numbers fool! Their power is in their disregard for the law!! Their power is in their devious cunning behavior!!
I would love to see an interview with you and Killer Mike. That would be gold
This guy has more power than any amount of money can allegedly give you... he is a teacher. He has the power to shape young minds. He plants the seed.
Notice how the professor always says “Right” or “Right?” People who talk like this rely on audience agreement as if they were speaking from a pulpit. It’s an interesting tell. The professor is thrown off by JLP because JLP either doesn’t agree or is just looking him in the eye.
Chewy very insightful, Thank you.
Love Happiness Lol. Lovely words from “Love Happiness.”
Love Happiness I hit a nerve and didn’t even have to do anything. Haha. Thanks.
"who is stopping black people for achieving their goals" Umh... That's a loaded question 🤦♂️ Why can't he just admit the facts? It's a cultural problem, not RACIAL! BTW, I'm NOT white...
Ezekiel Jarek by the way you are
@@laurencejohnson8573 You would know all about the color of my skin, right? 🤦♂️
Great discussion for the most part
Love watching this to fall asleep to.
A real live uncle Ruckus in the flesh.
And this guy was a military police officer.
NASA IS GOD! 😂😂
As an Asian, i want diversity and equity introduced into the NFL and NBA.
I really like this gentleman. He seems very sincere and intellectually honest. That's a rare thing for a college professor.
This poor ignorant individual. He certainly should understand racism, he is a racist. Victim mentality, nothing but excuses.
Whoopi Goldberg's looking rough these days... Amazin
*ahhhhhh-mazin*
Ok Peter Pan 👌
Have you seen The View lately, I'd say this is an improvement!
Jesse Lee don't you think when they destroyed Tulsa Oklahoma Black Wall Street that didn't set us back. We were doing good throughout the country Tulsa Oklahoma Massacre wasn't the only Massacre. They destroyed quite a few towns that was just like Tulsa Oklahoma and you don't think that set us back. If we would have had those towns still here today without any of those problems if they have back then and they would have Rose to the top. Jesse Lee I think you are a informant.
This guy is a pretty good sport about the questions that were being asked. Most would have ran off and cried at these questions.
The most consistent and obvious reason lower income among black households has nothing to do with the color of our skin. For example blacks more than white tend to peruse lower paying degrees in higher education (where both black and whites make less on average than other higher paying careers). Or likely the biggest (and should be most obvious) factor is the fact that fatherless households are way more common than they should ever be, which results in a dramatic cap in maximum potential of household earnings.
When victimhood is your empowerment, recovery is the enemy.
I like this guy. He's calm and not taking anything personal.
Thank you Jess
There u go he hit the nail right on the head, he made good decision. So he’s basically saying exactly what the problem is, stop making bad decision.
"So, I'll take myself for example, I think that I've made some fairly decent decisions in my life that have led me to have some financial success and I think it's all predicated on the fact that I had a really decent college education and the decision to go to college was my decision."
That's contradict the systematic racism. He was free to make good decisions that led him to where he is now.
Yeah, he pretty much negated his own arguement.
"My decision" is the key word!
That thumbnail is priceless.
He tried to say the reasonout of birth wedlock's is so high is because systemic racism but why was it so low before the civil Rights movement in the 1960s it was at 24 70s it went to 63% and has been going up. Otherwise blacks were doing better before the civil Rights staying together as a family
I can see how you don't get it. Look at the big picture and not the one that you have painted for yourself in order to make your so-called point.
They were never doing good at that time bruh.. the workforce paid them less then whites and whites had better opportunities then black people and don’t get me started on women… do your own research instead of listening to uncle ruckus
The Average White family does not make a hundred thousand where I'm from..
He just says shit and Democrats eat it up. I'm white and bust my ass for 16k a year
Stop lmaoo

this is called, "Selective Hearing."
This guy shouldn't teach.
Ever heard of the Irish?
Ralph Sims First thing I thought of.
Please tell me about the irish, in support of a " no such thing as racism" argument.
I am very interested
@John Burton
Were the children , of those kidnapped children , also held as chattel property? Or were the kidnapped children held until a bond was paid?
Brian Hanrahan I never said there was no such thing as racism.
@@ralphsims6997 the maker of this video did argue that there is no such thing as racism. That it is a lie created to control people with a lie.
So what about the irish...i have heard of them
We the people, we taking this conversation to a level that it's not even need to be, it is simple but only complicated to the eye of the beholder, many people strive hard to beat doctors but many of them don't make it lawyers engineers and we can go on and on just a simple point about it,
There's never a good reason to be angry
This guys not tricking anyone, it’s Eddie Murphy in disguise. Jokes aside, this guy wasn’t bad, he wasn’t so insecure that he couldn’t concede to certain valid points. Great interview.
"Takedown" by Jesse Lee Peterson
This "teacher", got his ass taught today! Jesse is the man!
If my kids were being "taught" by this "teacher", they'd be out that school soooo fast. Kids need education for advancement in life, NOT lessons in professional victimhood.
As a black woman in college this is exactly why I would never take any african american studies courses. Why not teach about that past, how we overcome came and what can we do TODAY TO BECOME MORE SUCCESSFUL. Most of the people I have meet that have taken african american studies are angry and blame white people for their problems. He said babies born out of wedlock in the african american community is the white man fault I was just beside myself🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
