I've never seen that helical braid at 2:00 before. I guess it's a variant on the cobra stitch in bracelet weaving. My first attempt was a shaggy, loose mess, but I'm going to have another go. Does the middle piece need to be thinner then the outside ones?
I love that you are using yourself, and also that you don’t have outrageously think hair. Like you have a nice head of hair, but it’s more along the average, so more people can relate. It’s hard looking for hair styles when you have thinned out hair like me and every creator on UA-cam has massively thick hair so the style looks horrible on you.
Jessica G I have fine hair too but I was able to do these styles by using volumizing spray before blow-drying and then texture spray (I use Amika but any texturing spray works) and it makes your hair thick enough to do these 🙂

How do you twist your hair and make it stay twisted? When I twist mine, after I put a band at the end it untwists.
You need to twist the induvidual strands in a direction (let's say the right) and wrap them around each other on the opposite one (left)
