I say we throw a party for all the people who wanna do their hair with braids and things that are hard to do yourself, and we all just do eachothers hair. All u have to do is bring snacks to share and we can all just chill and do hair. Maybe we can have beanbags and mariokart over in one corner too

As a mom to a school aged (step) kid, that's exactly why I'm here! Because Pasha had great hair one day and now I need to learn how to do cool hairstyles too lmfao. I can barely handle a ponytail, so wish me luck.

I love them both for different reasons. The first style because it is rock chic! A little sassy, a little bad@$$y. The second style is a refined (dare I say Victorian-esque) mohawk perfect for a ball... it's edgy and walks the line, but it is incredibly elegant in such a way to walk in with the best confidence and leave with the most compliments. 💗💗💗
Loved this !!!! I am 50 with my hair almost to my waist, very much a kid . I missed 17 years of my life, being comatose so to speak, that I want to make up for. so I've wanted to shave the side of my head but thinking 10 years of growth is scary !!!! Thank you for showing this. I have French braided my hair so I be I can do this, with time and patience!!!! Thank you again. !!!! Both styles are gorgeous!!! I like the first one I am used to wearing hair on right side.but I will do both!

Raine Garrity I was extremely ill for 14 years, I feel I lost my best years and want to make up for it too! I have long hair and I don’t think I’ll ever cut it short! I loved part 1 and would love to do this to my hair!
The great thing about hair.. it grows back! I had my hair in a very short faux hawk for a while, dyed pink on top. I loved it! But, I missed my curls, so I've let it grow back out. After being super short, and cut twice, [a year and 1/2] it's middle of my back. It's just hair. Do you!

I'm 58 with very long hair I don't intend to cut either..I just want to see how long it will get....as long as it's healthy looking and not a stringy mess. Regular trims and lost of caster oil to help it stay shiny and grow. I made my daughters and grand- daughters promise that they won't make me get it cut when I get too old to do it up myself..lolol and don't let me smell bad and help me with my makeup ..I maybe heading towards old age but this chickadee is going not going without a battle....I'm soooooo young at heart I'm thinking of how I might rock these styles...lolol. But seriously these are Soo beautiful and I think it's perfect for any who don't want to shave their hair but can have the look. I think that's why I love long hair Soo much because you can do Soo much with it.
To me God never intended for us to get old...so I ain't doing it!!! :)

PART#2 FOR ME! I've been searching for a step by step way to put looking hair up in a "super cute" way to mimick a mohawk... I FINALLY FOUND IT! All i can say is you are so talented, very skilled & I'm falling in love with your videos so.... You've gotten another fan here, added to the club!
I can barely get my hair to do a normal braid for me :'( how am I going to manage this! But I want this so bad! lol
A good quality hairspray and a lot of patience. Usually, more ethnic-oriented salons that deal with textured hair also specialize in these types of braiding styles, as well, if you don't want to spend the time or effort, or just can't manage to at all. I would suggest doing a bit of research of local salons and read the reviews, especially if they have images of the end results with the certain beautician that did said style.

Both of these are gorgeous. I feel like part one has more of a casual vibe to it where part two seems a little more dress up-ish but still both are really cool
These look so pretty! Gotta say tho when I first saw the thumbnail I thought you used one of those plastic zig zag headbands from the 90s to hold the hair. There’s no way I could braid this on myself but maybe I can do one of those headbands... 🤔

I googled it and they’re called zigzag comb headbands. I remember I used to wear them as a kid and they’d always scratch my neck.
The banana clips are the ones that are actually curved like a banana.. my mom still wears them lol
SweetHearts Hair yeah banana clips were different - more of a giant “butterfly clip”, with big teeth lol
Those zigzag headbands were literally the semi-circle (almost) basic plastic headband, but just a single row of short little “teath” to hold the hair in these sort of rows - and obvsly was in a zigzag shape lol

SweetHearts Hair AS someone who is old enoigh to have had a modified~Mohawk diruhf the days of Sid Vicious...Anarchy in the UK & God Save The Queen!!! I had my hair dyed jet black on top but had it going into a color called cherrywood by my shoulders and then blondish towards the end by the middle of my back! LOL! Oh yeah the second one is way better. And I actually AM part Mohawk NATIVE but now my hair is all one color and about to just above the middle of my back. Now IF I only had orangutan arms then I could do some of these styles! I post them on my FB to show my friends...it's my NOT so subtle hint of hey c'mon by and do this for me 1 day will ya? craftymoo1 I'm 2 years older than you and i've never stopped rocking punk. We were there when Malcolm Mclaren & Vivienne Westwood invented punk... And i plan to age bright & hip as Betsey Johnson. I think the trick for us is keeping it classic feminine but with an edge. Don't worry about the number. BORING! Its your life to live & no one elses. PLUS! We're of age to start rehearsing for being little old pink, purple or blue haired ladies. Remember those?
Just because you're 47 doesn't mean your hair has to be boring and bland. Your hair can be as avant garde and glorious as you want it to be, whatever age you are.
Second, AKA curls, style. Yes, the first is edgy. Totally a look. But the second is a MOOD. No matter the occasion, it makes a statement!
This is badass! I'd like a hybrid of the two: twisted up on both sides, but the middle curled and backcombed, but left long.

Both are so cute, especially the second one; but if I had to choose one I would try, it would definitely be the first, it's simpler and my hair doesn't curl very well.
