(Air Horn) LACoFD Truck 13 Responding

Los Angeles County Fire Department Truck 13 responding to an outside investigation (reported smoke) on Long Beach Boulevard and the 105 Freeway. They were providing station coverage (move up) for Station 147.

Truck 13 was formerly assigned as Vernon Fire Department Truck 76 prior to the annexation into LA County Fire and is one of a kind in the departments apparatus fleet. Prior to the annexation, Truck 13 was being dispatched by LA County Fire Dispatch, and it’s call sign was “Truck 776”. Cities like Vernon that were/are contracted with LA County Fire Dispatch that still have their own independent fire department, are prefixed with a “7” in their units call signs.
Additionally, as of Monday May 31st, 2021. Truck 13 is now housed at Fire Station 82 in La Canada Flintridge, as they take Quint 82’s spot. It is currently unknown what happened with Quint 82, but my guess is that it’s now in reserve status and will replace a Simon Duplex.

Now that Truck 13 has been moved to station 82, will station 13 get a quint or will they just have the Engine & Squad?
Also will the Truck operate on its own or be part of Lightforce 82 like the previous Quint?

@DJ Plays 13’s now has a quint. Truck 82 is paired with Engine 282 as LF82 so they will remain responding together to runs.
