I ran the numbers for a 300fps set-up with 500g builds. I got about 3fps and under 30 yards (under 100 feet) that translates into zero difference. Both reach the target at the same time. It's after 30 yards that it begins to make a difference and even then, we're talking about 1/4 of a second in contact time at double that distance (60 yards). If someone can't kill a deer with a whisker biscuit under 30 yards, trust me, it's not the rest that causing their problems.

Drop away. Hamskea limb driven. I have the primer on my BOWTECH REVOLT. And on my Mathews v3x I have the epsilon. Great rest. Best on the market imo.

Would like to see a test done with a whisker biscuit shot out of a hooter shooter at 50 yards indoors. Think that would be a killer test. And prove how accurate they are.

June 2020 edition of Bowhunter. Did a study to see if temperature affected point of impact. They tested whisker and two drop away tests out of a hooter shooter. 83 degrees, 70 degrees, 7 degrees. 2 sets of 10 arrows at each temperature.
      The whisker had no change.
The other two had point of impact change of up to 7" at 20 yards.
They actually thought the machine was incorrect so they recalibrated everything and did it again. Same results. So then they shot by hand and again the whisker was not affected by temperature and both drop aways were.
      Pretty interesting.
Bottom line always shoot your bow in the conditions you are hunting in and adjust if needed.

Years ago when the whisker first came out a guy on our winter indoor was shooting 298,299’s 58-60 repeatably with the whisker. . Did a couple of 300/60’s.. That’s when I bought one for hunting. Used it for years with zero issues and killed many a deer, pigs and coyotes. We did a chronograph sometime later and there was no speed difference.. I remember that well because people were saying and believing it reduced arrow speed- not in my test. Although I use a QAD drop away for a long time I wouldn’t hesitate to use a whisker biscuit. They are really a great great hunting rest, basically foolproof IMO.

Yessir no doubt there are the perfect hunting rest. There is nothing to malfunction. Simplicity is king for sure. I hunted with one for years till I opened this shop amd just started trying new things. 👍💪

I've lowered it on later videos. That does get a little loud. Thanks for the input!!

Have you any video on changing out insert on the trophy ridge whisker biscuit. With 2 set screws included?

I've used my biscuit for along time and bristles are getting fluffy. Chance for arrow not to stay in place. Can't find a video on how to change out with the 2 set screws that come with replacement. Can't even find them on my high end trophy ridge biscuit

On most of the ones I've delt with, where the split is that u put your arrow thru, the rubber "bumpers" will pull off. Then you push it around the circle if that makes sense. Push on the bottom of the wisker frame and it will start moving coming out the top. That's the best way i can describe it for ya bud. Hope that helps!

I got the same problem, I feel like the trophy ridges that were included with bows weren't replaceable. Cause I sure can't find the set screws, seems like they just glued it in.

Bro, can you make the intro and explanations shorter please? 3:50 in and you start with the testing.
