    I haven't used the rust aid yet but always been a fan since the first time I saw you use it. I looked up the ingredients and oxilic acid is one of them, so it make sense in how well it works.
    I like the idea of multi use for the oxilic acid, even for someone like myself just to use around the house. I can use it to remove the rust on my concrete and brighten up my wooden deck and fence after I clean them.
    Was also doing the math. 1 gal of rust aid for $13. 80 ounces of oxilic can make 8 gals for $24.
    Looks like I'll be ordering some this summer when I clean my driveway and deck.
    Nice comparison test. Great work as always.

    I’m a beekeeper and we use Oxalic Acid to treat hives for mites.
    It dissolves very quickly and thoroughly in hot water.
    When I test it to use for rust treatment, I’ll probably dissolve it ahead of time to make a liquid concentrate, and then carry that concentrate out in the field and dilute it to the desired concentration in the tank .
    I try to keep time in site down to no more than required to do a good job when in the field; getting one more job done in a day makes a big difference at the end of the month.

    Hi Pink Flamingo, I appreciate your excellent information. Questions:
    1) Have you ever washed a brick house? If so Can I use the same SH? How do you mix the SH, I am a little confused with that.
    2) Where did you get the tip for two story house?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  Рік тому +2

      Yes brick can be washed with SH. I dont mix sh. I have a downstream injector, I just drop the tube right into the straight SH and the downstream injector mixes it with water that way its diluted down to a 1-1.25%

      @Pink Flamingo Power Wash LLC yea I owned a stone Mason company a LLC can had it but it was full time, sold it 15 years ago to work Union Carpenter for the benefits I have 5 kids so had to make a change, now I live in ohio so I'm still a Union Carpenter but want a side hustle for the warm months, plans are to go big eventually and let my boys take over plus to have extra income , I'm a hustler at heart so I 100% know eventually I'll grow to having a rig . Just taking baby steps , my $$" is funny right now so slow grinding it , but your right I think I'll invest in the insurance that way I don't have to only do drive ways and trash cans. Was thinking don't do house 's or ya need insurance

    Quick question do you just let water with Chem run down and get to the storm drain? Or what is the best way to go by that? Want to start a pressure washing business but hard about the clean water act stuff... I just don't wanna get a big fine. Thank you and love your vids

      Dont sweat it man. just dont blatantly pour chemicals down drains. You can always go buy a reclaim system or buy some pig socks to block the water.

    Ive never used Rustaid but im almost positive its just oxylic acid. Probably buffered. Check.the label. Youre just mixing the powder hotter. Ive mixed up to 16 oz per gallon. They say it wont dissolve that much but with warm water it works for me. It is tough on pump sprayers but im lazy cleaning them out so my bad i guess. Great video as always.
