Thanks Phil, yes I had forgotten this was 37087's final resting place. Sad to see, but on the plus side it was nice to see work progressing on 37405 :)
Well that film certainly answered a couple of questions. So thats where 45110 is. Last time I saw her she was on the SVR. And the same for 60532. Sad to see so many diesels in such a state. Seems like a dumping ground for them. Very enjoyable all the same. All the best.
Felt quite positive leaving here as there is a lot of restoration work going on, it is a shame though to see locos rotting in a yard... same thing at Long Marston, Toton etc. 45110 is a fave of mine and I took far to many pictures that day. Thanks for your comment, cheers Steve.
Very nice mate, it looks like you managed to get a fair few locos there. I'm surprised that 37087 is still there (sort of), may have to pop down and get that one before it's too late.
If my numbers ever came up, those AC electrics would be mine, imagine 84001 on the pretendolino set out of Euston, probably only get as far as Rugby before it failed, but I'd have the 82 to run round and take over. Oh one can dream.
Excellent video Steve, what a great collection of loco's at Barrow Hill, thanks for sharing...Bill
Thanks Bill, glad you enjoyed.
