Helter skelter, oneof the best raves to be held in the sanctuary. The good ol'days of jungle. Remember we had to swap venues every time a dj came on. Depends on what your flava is. Jungle or hardcore.real vybz whistle and horns and real fuxking good ecstasy. Glad i got to experience it. Those old enough knows the vybz. Big up yourself for the upload. Nostalgia.💯👏🏾👏🏾👊🏿😤
I was here. Can't find any of us though.. I remember it was stretched across 4 arenas (2 + 2) with a little fairground to the side. No trouble whatsoever, just everyone having a great time. Got a train up from Hastings.
Just class!!! i never went to skelter had to make do with collecting the tape packs, i swear though if i could go right now i would go in every room for a bit....rather than just living in the HH room all night....
Great night - from The Strings of Life in June to the epic Energy 97 that August, 1997 was to Helter Skelter what 1995 was to Dreamscape - their NYE being the first showcase at Denbigh NL to use The Rollers as well as The Sanctuary and Dreamscape 20 being the last licensed outdoor rave to feature an all night outside main stage. RIP to the young lad who passed away at The Strings of Life that summer as well as the death at the Skegness Fantasy Island event that same night - that could have been many of us at one point or another. Love to all the dancers past, present and future xxx
If I could turn back TIME just for 1 more night at v7 saxon Street the sanctuary as an 18 year old a pocket full of jubleys and a wistle and horn I'd be 1 happy man 😆
Was this in April/may? 1997? I was there just cannot remember the name of the night? In the queue channel 5 where there doing a program called Generation E. It aired the first day Channel 5 began. Anyone remember that?

@@checktheskies5040 It couldn't be Strings of Life because that was June 1997, and Generation E was on Channel 5 5th April 1997. I reckon it was Helter Skelter Anthology 15th March 97, the film crew from ITV's Club Nation were there too.

Everyone hated Birkenhead lot. The scum of the ravers. Everyone was friendly and up for having a good time apart from you lot. The scene would have been better without you lot
Kids these days won’t know what a true rave is
That’s because they don’t care. Like you didn’t care about your parents’ choice of music.
They do tho lol @@newname2600
The Technodrome going off at 30:50

Such a shame that Deathchant PA wasn't recorded, would love to hear that set!!!!
Came down from Newcastle for this one. Absolute belter it was ❤️😃
After doing so many they all blended into one but I do remember it was cold that night.
Still can hear the whistles and horns now....
Best times of my life ...make some noise
Cracking set by Dougal, he was probably the best producer out of all the Hardcore guys.
Made some good friends from Birkenhead at these raves. 96-99 we’re the best events.
The Birkenhead lot had a bad rep but I thought they was safe as houses!

Always preferred the Rollers at Skelter. Less light-weights and more Idiot ravers. A Goldmine.
