Watching from Mid-Michigan. Awesome importance oh the honoring the crown, even before Queen Elizabeth. Carried so as an honor th the king, ant to his reigh😢. The fact that a child desires to follow on in this tradition is somewhat bhonoring the King.

A junior officer a lieutenant carries the colour or standard (each regiment either calls it the colour or standard, in a video I heard a footguard call it a standard after the presentation of new colours at Buckingham Palace).

when i was in the service it only took me 30 mins to do my boots
The soldiers with the scarlet sash over the
left shoulder are either warrant officers or sergeants. Not commissioned officers

Shuffle is distinctive. I think of penguins though
Check the buttons on their tunic - single buttons are Grenadiers, sets of 2 are Coldstream, sets of 3 are Scots, sets of 4 are Irish and sets of 5 are Welsh.
on the great coat they are all evenly spaced its only on the tunic that they are spaced accordingly

The Blues and Royals plus Trumpeters of the life Guards wear Red plumes on their Helmet, probably from the time when certain orders on the battlefield were relayed by Trumpeters who stood close to the commanding officer. Also I think it’s Bugle.

What happened to the little soldier that got VIP treatment, you only showed him for a very short time. This was more about the King's Guard.
