DIY Spring and Easter Decor for Under $5

- In this video, I use items purchased at Dollar Tree and thrift stores to create ten different spring and Easter home decorations. All ten DIY items cost five dollars or less. The projects demonstrated include instruction in decoupaging, painting, beading, floral arranging, and small wood construction. These items are for resale in a local booth. I hope you are inspired to create a little spring decor on a budget for your home.

Hi Sherrie (sorry, uncertain of name spelling). I am very excited in finding your you tube channel! I must also add a bit sad as this find me now 73 years old and a few years ago diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease now making it difficult to balance making it difficult to walk, yet alone carry anything at the same time - difficult to impossible with my now declining strength to go up or down stairways. My goal/dream for so many years has been to have a small shop and to update and renew life to older art pieces, somewhat like you. My husband is a wonderful man, helpful and very considerate and has been a great caretaker thus far.
My problem is his inability to see through his eyes what I envision for these pieces and sees some of the things I am unable to resist simply as “basement filler”. Tonight we stopped at a couple of thrift shops and I saw and he simply passed by, an old oak table with two large pillars with bun feet. I immediately envisioned making two floor standing painted candlesticks- how beautiful they could be in our bedroom! Well, needless to say with the table being a large piece, I would need his help to bring the table home and it would need to be quick or it will be gone. I feel I must compensate so hopefully he will allow me to purchase with understanding things only for our own home. I truly appreciate his love and all it means - BUT, will I be able to purchase the table? We’ll wait and see…. Meanwhile, I truly want to congratulate you on receiving so many subscribers so quickly to your channel. It is truly beautiful and inspirational and I personally thank you for creating it at a time when I personally have the ability to enjoy it.Keep them coming…

Sherry I discovered you can make a lid for your cans. Using 2 identical type cans... Open one can the conventional vertical way.... open the other can with your can opener
held horizontally. Using the can part from one can and the lid from the other. Glue on a cork or use a magnet for a knob on the top of the can lid. Disposing of the jagged part of the 2 cans. Hope this makes sense.
