That Control verse still has some folks in their feelings😂. I don't know why because it wasn't personal attacks, in Hip Hop it's called competitive sport. And it seems all the names Kendrick dropped knew that and understood what he was doing. So they weren't tripping about it. And the only ones who took offense to it, seems to be Drake and possibly Big Sean. Although I respect Big Sean and even J Cole for what they did on the grown man tip. Too many people do let this social media and internet fodder get in their ear and in their head. But it seems ever since the Kendrick/Drake situation blew up, everybody has a weird response to everything.

6:23 He was commercial but not sell out like Drake.. so he could only go so far. Vs JCole & Kendrick who are just lyrical artists at heart. So being commercial is more bold and definitely won’t have fandom like Drake’s.

Big sean doesn't sound very confident in himself or his abilities. He stays throwing subs and then running to hide, smh. Now he's here with a narrative suggesting Kendrick apologised to him 😂. "he apologised in a sense". Apologising for a leak and not the contents of said leak 😂, Sean is delusional, no wonder Kanye stays clowning him. Sean cares too much about the opinion of others. He's just like Drake in the sense that, he's too sensitive. Dot about to throw a couple bars his way in the next project and I'm here for it. Cute raps, get your puberty up, boy! 😂

Would the verse had needed to be cleared twice? TMZ asked him how he felt about the leaked verse and he said it was old he wasn’t worried about. Now he portrays it like Kendrick just apologized no he apologized because y’all had already settled the beef by time that record was leaked a yr ago. I think it’s messed up to say because you considered Big Sean dainty he couldn’t be the face of hip hop but Drake the imposter can. (Your opinion so I get it.) Personally Drake was never in my top 3. He a “rapper” but he doesn’t have a classic rap album and that’s fact. Also Kendrick and j Cole has taken a lot of time away from the game they have thrown loosies here and there but have not always put out a new project but don’t get judged the same way I think that’s a bit unfair, but it’s hip hop. In regard to the healing or maturity of Sean, I think it is need more in hip hop. The balance of music with depth from mainstream artist is being lost quickly and that does a disservice to the next generation and hip hop which is why I think they don’t go back and listen to the beginning of hip hop. Or explore other artist that are putting out that type of music

I really dislike when one of my statements gets manipulated into another lol. There was an institution behind Drake. Like him or not, he strategically placed himself in all the right situations and provided what people perceived as value to be hoisted as the industry’s choice. Sean was and is still a dainty figure when it comes to Hip-Hop, just read how others feel about him in the comments where I’ve tried to defend him. Never said I disliked or didn’t listen to his music. I’m just speaking on how he’s come across through the course of his career.
