at first I didn't believe what you said about the plate weighting 90kgs, but when you show the clip of 3 guys turning the table I was convinced. Great video!!
The way you design stuff to be functional and look good is really something we don't see in any youtube channel. Nice video by the way! I love your channel!
Metal, wood, and plastic - talk about using all resources available. Been a long time watcher, and as an avid 3d printer myself, this is one of my favorites. Keep it UPPPPP!!
Welding tables are all the rage now. I finished mine a while back and I can’t believe how much use I am getting out of it. You’ll love having it. Looking forward to new metal projects!
Now for the slow and steady slide into purchasing metal working Kant-Twist clamps, bits, accessories, etc! The tooling always costs 3x what the machine costs LOL. Very nice find in that table top!
From wood tables, to Jesmonite tables, and now metal tables... I am enjoying watching you expand your skills, those are some pretty decent welds if you ask me. :)
Alex! Hello from Russia! I really like your projects and your ideas! Your ideas are incredible and your work is amazing. A very good table turned out and very good welds if you did it for the first time. Thanks! Thanks to you, I found myself and started doing what I love ... and learning a foreign language in order to better understand what you are talking about! Thanks!
when using the biscuit jointer use the jointer like a router and cut a continuous slot on one edge then you don't need to worry about the biscuits lining up with the opposite slot, one small problem with your table is if anything falls through the holes on the table top you'll have a lot of work getting it if it falls on top of the the mdf cupboard
Great job designing and making that welding table. Looking forward to more of your 3D printed boxes, they have come in handy in my shop many times over! Thanks for sharing!
@@jannikm2247 You can tig this, but tig is the slowest and most fiddly of all of the welding processes. While it gives the cleanest look and most control, it's definitely overkill on this project
For cheap jig table clamps you can buy cheap F-Clamps, cut off the bottom part part that doesn't slide and weld an M16 bolt (or whatever size holes your table has) to the end of the clamp where you cut it off. Made tons of these for my table, also use bolts that have a shank (no thread at the top) Said bolts also make good stops, and if you need taller stops just weld a piece of tube to the head of a bolt.
I'm so addicted to your videos, they are actually mesmerizing. I wish I had the money and the space for a workshop, I'm dying to do something with my hands but I just don't have the means for it right now. Your videos are amazing, especially your woodworking I enjoy very much. Please keep doing it and keep enjoying it the way you are, it's really fun to see.
Your high camera tree totally helped with this video. The different shots look great. I think you need a steel plate over the plastic tig case to be safe too.
Hope you can make some more updates to the 3d printed boxes, would love some stackable smaller boxes that allows me to store all the small screws (m2-m3)! Great video as always!
neat build, but I'd probably recommend trying to add some foot screws. Those would allow you to level the work surface even if you're placing it on an uneven floor.
A chisel is the tool I am talking about. Two males use it on their videos. It is a beautiful and very shinny chisel to make perfect small rectangular holes on the wood with a chisel, and a hammer using his hands. I find it to be a pretty tool but only two people have such beautiful attractive tool.
Very nice, congratulations for the new tool. Welding is awesome, you gonna love it. Also, nice catch on that fire resistant mdf. Maybe is also a good idea to keep a fire extinguisher in your shop? You know, just in case since you have lots of wood parts and furniture around.
Hi there! A little tip for cutting metal with your saw. Try to lay down flat pieces. If you lay it on the wide side, more teeth of the sawblade are in contact with the metal. And this means, it won't wear down that fast because the force is distributed on the whole surface. :)
First of all, I really like the table. I'm planning to get into TIG welding myself and your project comes as a good starting point for my table :) I also noticed that your amazon links are only for the US. Some youtubers use genius to redirect to the correct amazon site according to your location.
Nice work on that table man, love how you think everything through! I really recommend an air filtering/circulation system on your welding helmet when you're welding mostly indoors in a confined space. Those vapors can't be that good for you.
Nice table! I hope you remember to put a chain around your gas bottle so it doesn't accidentally tip over and release all the gas
X100! Love the design but please add a safety strap to keep the bottle from tipping over.
They also become rockets, which I think is more of the concern haha
@@SeanHodgins yes, absolutely!
Came to the comments just the say this.
Something to separate the tank and welder from anything falling through the holes?
Also - this was an awesome project.

not gonna lie, your "upgrade your shop" videos are always satisfying!
Literally the best!

insane the level of growth you have had the past year, well deserved, looking forward to 500k!
You are a huge inspiration to me
I love watching people build like, desks or workshop areas
I like that you showed the difference between the materials by testing them and showing the reason for your choice.

Yep, with love to get some same pills :)
project possibilities will be endless now
I like that he is always happy in every video and always laughing.

Glad you fixed that saw
looking forward to more metalworking projects
Excellent job and great smile 👍

Everything came out so clean and well organized. It is apparent that you put a lot of thought into your work!!
Oh wow, your design eye along with a mixture of woods and metals is going to be out of this world!
From wood tables, to Jesmonite tables, and now metal tables... I am enjoying watching you expand your skills, those are some pretty decent welds if you ask me. :)
precise, clean, organized and satisfying to watch.
Hands down, the best maker channel on UA-cam. This guy is a genius.

Dude, seeing all the things you add and built to your workshop is so amazing!
love you DYI everything you can, and your flexibility with the 3D printer is amazing. One more door is open now for more cool projects
So cool seeing you do a variety of maker disciplines

Superb job as usual! And ton of positive emotions! Love your Vids Sebastian!
I love your energy and your builds! Great job!
I love you videos it’s amazing how you can come up with really interesting solutions to different problems like the custom jigs for your clamps!
I LOVE everything you build! The FUNCTION is just so so satisfying!

Not a job I would want to tig weld, but at least you'll get a lot of time practicing! That turned out great.
Just for interest... Why should you not Tig weld Something like that?
@@jannikm2247 You can tig this, but tig is the slowest and most fiddly of all of the welding processes. While it gives the cleanest look and most control, it's definitely overkill on this project
Thanks for the explanation. If it's just overkill, ist niceee. I thought it would be the "wrong" way to do it.
Specially when you see how cheap some mig welders are on amazon these days, would've been ideal purchase for a hobbiest shop.
@@hansbenz7213 not to mention the extra cost of the gas/filler rods and lack of filler material compared to a mig, or even an mma machine.

"I know wood is flamable, but it won't be a problem, I think."

But seriously, great project, as always!
Hahaha 💁♂️ i did test it first, once the oil is dry it didn't make any difference in terms of flammability.
@@achappel I thought the same as Arne
OMG your welding mask is so cool!!!!!
Love your videos and energy.
Awesome, all your work is great. I sending you my best from Panamá.

It's impressive how skilled you are. I wish I knew how to weld and do woodworking too. Great job!
Cool project as always, thanks! 🙌🏻
Nice work. Great looking table
Pretty nice work, Alexandre! 😃
It turned out great!
Stay safe there! 🖖😊
That sure is a great table.
Yet another excellent, high quality video; you have a woodworking and apparently metalworking gift!
Great project
just built a table for myself this week!
Excited for metalworking printed organizers 🤩
Every day Alexandre uploads a video is a good day!
Loving your builds and your style!!
Great table! As next project made please air extractor for welding fumes.
Very good quality content Alexander👏👏👏👏
that green mdf reminds me of 70s bathrooms in the UK.
It was great, motivated me to do my own table for my wood shop. Keep up the good work.. greetings from the Caribbean!
That was an impressive build. And your welding skills are flawless. Greetings from Bergen (Norway) :-)
Bra jobba Alexandre!!

Requirements - welding table

Watermelon looks awesome!
Alexandre: *forgets to plan for something beforehand, for the first time ever (wheels)*
Me: Ha! Finally!
Also how to clean the top of the drawer cabinet ;-)
You need some bumpers for the corners of that table to protect from injury.
Another great video and the welding looks really good. Well done 👍👍
Amazing work, as usual! Useful and beautiful!
Your work is always so clean and precise I love it! And the organization is also amazing. Keep up the great work, I love your videos!
I somehow always end up loving every single one of your videos, keep it up!
Holy moly! TIG!
Great job
For a band saw that cuts metal, add lubricant as that will make the cutting smoother and help the blade cool!
Your videos are always so satisfying to watch. I really admire your skills and your workshop :)
I absolutely LOVE your content! It's so inspiring!
