How can you cure something that isn't a disease or illness? It's a learning difficulty, you can overcome it even if it takes a long time. Yes you might still struggle. But even the worst cases can learn how to read and write eventually.

I think they can be held back multiple times I don't know anyone who has, but I do know 6 other people+me that have been held back once.

you develop obsessive, and competitive behavior over nutrition, diet, exercise, and the way you look. take me for example, i eat less than 1000 calories a day, i restrictively measure my food, i weigh myself multiple times a day, i’m very competitive to see if i weigh less than other people, and i get very happy if i do, i obsessively exercise, pretty much all of my behavior is textbook restrictive subtype anorexia behavior. but i’m still overweight, due to hypoglycemia. she’s really stupid if she thinks skipping dinner is anorexia. just ask the people who go into cardiac arrest due to severe anorexia. 🙃

I have Dyslexia and it is for reading so idk why you failed multiple classes to fail if you disability it just for a only reasoning disability.
There are diffrent types of dyslexia, maybe she have the one that fuck up her brain were it concerns sight (those who have it are/can be praticaly unable to read). Or maybe her parents weren't giving a flying fuck about her education when she was little and the psychologist and school body gave her the dagionist to force her to do therapy sessions, so she have highter chances in school (quiet comonne practise were I come from) but it done nothing. Or she is simple faking it up and the only thing she know about it that other kids at school that have it are said to have problems with learning.

This reminds me of this one time when me and some other kids were presenting for STEM.
