  • In this thrilling scene from "A Million Ways to Die in the West," Clinch Leatherwood, portrayed by the talented Liam Neeson (known for his roles in Taken and The Schindler List), holds Anna, played by the stunning Charlize Theron (famous for her performances in Mad Max Fury Road and The Old Guard), in his grasp, threatening to end her life if Albert, brought to life by Seth MacFarlane (creator of Family Guy and Ted), fails to make an appearance. Albert, determined to prove his love for Anna, challenges Clinch Leatherwood to a gunfight, with the winner earning the right to be with the beautiful Anna.

    As the two men stand face to face in the heart of the western town, their guns pointed at each other, Albert takes a shot at Clinch Leatherwood before the count of three. The bullet grazes Clinch's shoulder, causing him to disarm Albert in retaliation. Just as Clinch Leatherwood is about to pull the trigger and end Albert's life, Albert requests a moment to say a few final words. This seemingly innocent request buys just enough time for the snake venom, previously administered by Albert, to take effect, ultimately leading to the demise of Clinch Leatherwood. Don't miss the chance to witness this epic showdown and more in "A Million Ways to Die in the West," starring Seth MacFarlane, Charlize Theron, and Liam Neeson, as the film makes its highly anticipated streaming debut on Netflix on June 1, 2024.

      Yeah in the way they did it but it is possible to poison a bullet which is why it's banned. I think it even has an article in the geneva convention about it

    • @dhy5342
      @dhy5342 3 роки тому +38

      He did say it's a hollow point so the poison would be in a depression in the front point of the bullet and away from the direct heat of the propellant's combustian.

    • @keith3761
      @keith3761 3 роки тому +28

      Nah if it's in the hollow point at the top of the bullet it would be fine temperature wise. The real issue here is that you would have to use a good wax or other sealant to seal off the top of the bullet and do so without as you said ruining the temperature sensitivity of the poison. Plant Sap might work or room temperature tar or maybe just a tight fitted corkage and glue. You would have to do some extensive testing but I guess he has his sheep for that.

    I feel like this plan falls apart for several reasons:
    1. I don’t think you could get enough venom on the bullet to be deadly for a full grown adult male.
    2. Death by snake venom takes a while. He’d probably die of septic shock from the wound before he dies from snake venom.

    • @NinjaRaider2
      @NinjaRaider2 3 роки тому

      i mean obviously it's a bad plan, but as unrealistic as it is, the clip showed the hollow point bullet being filled up with the venom, not just coating one with it, and also a venom strong enough to kill an adult human would definitely either do it before septic shock, or it wouldn't kill them at all
      i don't think this is quite the most unrealistic part about this movie though to be honest
