@Michael-hw5qq I can't get my tv to recognize it via optical. Sound comes out but I would like to program it to use my TV remote for volume. It's annoying having to use 2 remotes.
@@ceasarspalace I never heard that optical recognizes the device connected. It acts like a blaster. It doesn't care if there is something connected. If you have a fire stick it has ir presets for logitech z5500 and z906. Do you have the tv set to toslink or optical to automatic or passthrough?

z5500 probably the best product logitech ever made for the money. Still delivering in 2023 and giving up more features.
