I dont have any kinex but I've seen a couple of these videos and I think you could add a tensioner pulley to increase the slack

Very cool and compact. If this unit still knew how to turn and overcome small obstacles, the prices would not be for it! Turn is solved by double tracks.

There are some interesting concepts that use a flywheel to turn, but of course two tracks would be the easier solution

Well it runs on tracks so it doesn’t have to be circular just like a tank’s tracks

The motor is a little bit too weak to work well in a practical environment, but the shape shouldn't influence that

you should take out those two grey same sized gears and instead put two different sized gears to make the mono wheel go faster
