Jo Dee has been a favorite of mine since she first walked on the country stage. I'm tired of all this new country, rapping, cursing and everything else. This song though......WOW what a powerful song that just brings all of us in because we can all relate and we all have been in the position of GOD I NEED YOU.....NOW! Jo Dee this is my all time favorite song now!! So awesome. I miss your wonderful voice.
I first discovered Jo Dee on Touched by an Angel and was recently pleasantly surprised that she has turned her life over to God and is now singing Christian songs! What a blessing she is, and what an awesome testimony! She is so down to earth and honest! What a refreshing change of pace from all these Christian artists who seem to have a chip on their shoulder and something to prove!

It was written and originally released by Plumb, who is a Christian artist. Both versions are really good! I imagine she got permission from Plumb to sing it.
That was not an easy song to sing. She did great! I’m glad she is using her talent to glorify the One who gave it to her.

I saw Jo Dee perform this song at Frostburg State University last October. (It was my birthday concert for 2019.) It was a total surprise because I was more familiar with the original version by Plumb. But Jo Dee did an awesome job with it.
