My OnePlus 6 which I was using since Oct 2018 which was absolutely excellent and VFM product but eventually died in May 2024 due to CrashDump failure luckily I was able to recover my data upto 80 percent bcoz luckily It woke up due to my small trick I kept the phone in freezer for a day and kept it out next day until it came to normal temperature then plugged in charge simultaneously pressed power button it stayed on for an hour and I was lucky enough to recover my data. However it died again and went to CrashDump mode after that the same trick is not helping. I was aware of this issue (kept some data in cloud sync) and obviously went to the OnePlus service centre who suggested motherboard replacement and went to local shops who suggested RAM or CPU reballing but they alerted that this issue comes back at any time. Hence I decided to leave it and buy a new phone. But bro I feel slightly cheated by the brand bcoz this seems to be an intentional trick by companies to make customers buy their new phones. PATHETIC. Please take up my comment and provide your suggestions for all OnePlus users.
Your correct bro many faced this kinds of issue but after few years all the brands degrade the performance of their products to sell the new ones we can just criticise bro what to do I can feel ur sadness bro it's really an unfortunate situation.
OnePlus 6 is still my secondary device for music and gcam photography mass.

@@aathreya1385 go to settings and privacy, and then permissions, then click camera access! Then click it on.
If you have tried all the troubleshooting steps including factory data reset and still the issue persist then I suggest you take your device for hardware inspection.
I am using Nokia 8 from 2018 to till now. Good Build quality. Best performance.

I bought Oneplus 6 after 1month of release. still I'm using it as primary phone.
its very comfortable to use and slim. OS is easy and simple with some features.
Camera:
Camera is good, I'm using pro mode different kind of photos. secondary camera 21mp, it have less usage. instead of that they can provide ultra wide.
While taking video, phone get heading so im not able use continuously. so i mostly take less min video only.
Display:
good and super, good color, video and gaming experience is super. still I'm using without temper and scratch guard bcs display quality is super without guard. i have tried scratch guard but it feels it reduce video quality so.
Battery:
Battery back-up was good before merge with color OS. after color OS mixed, first feel battery and processor is reduced.
20w charger quick for me. recently in home im using 10w charger, that also fine for me.
In Office, charging phone using Oneplus mini Type A to Type C cable which is provide for Oneplus wireless Z2. its charging like 10w and it take 40mins for 15% to 80%.
(box charging cable was broken so i dnt like to buy new one bcs mini cable satisfy my requirement).
Processor:
Performance is excellent before merge with color OS.
After color OS mixed, performance reduced and it take 50% to 70% of RAM, when i use camera I'm not able to quick switch to another apps.
While using phone in mobile network and watching reels/shorts, it warming.
While Android auto connected (both wire/wireless), I'm not able use camera or any heavy apps and it heading up quickly.
Features liked in my phone: (it may available all phones)
dark mode, night mode, gaming mode, speaker sound, phone vibration, camera alignment in center, fingerprint sensor in backside, one hand use, alert slide, screen off gestures, inbuild app locker, pocket mode, notification area.
Overall I'm very satisfied, still I'm looking for better phone compare than this,
i like Oneplus 12 looks and features but i missing comport and heavy.

I am using 5T special edition from 1.1.2018 till date as my primary phone with out any problem. Only my battery health has come down to 50-60%.Still I am able to get 2to 3 hours of screen on time. I really love my phone and don't want to upgrade for some more time

Such a mesmerizing experience until oxygen Os 11 update which crashed the front cam and eventually switched to 9r which got Green line😂 At last ditched Oneplus and never going to buy again

Not a oneplus user, but I wished back in 2018 i could have oneplus 6T/ 5T. Those time I had Moto G3. It was a legendary phone. In hand feel + hand stiched OS by a designer, OS was pure.
Still using oneplus 5t as my daily driver. Producing awesome performance .
I'm still using that champ(OnePlus 6) with oxygen os 10 and it still runs perfectly without any issues, no heating issue, decent battery life (5+ hrs battery life), fluidic display and a headphone jack🌠
The phone is still in perfect condition with all factory stock parts
