Man I remember this album came out before my high school graduation and the crazy thing is when I was bumping ghost town during my prom night it made me realize I’m gonna miss every single thing about high school.
30 minutes before the listening party held at the ranch with celebrities. he was producing in the back of a van and finishing ghost town during that too while sending vocals and raps to mike dean to master.
This is by far my favorite Kanye album and I known many people won't agree with me but it dives so deep in his psyche that you feel his struggles like they're yours. The beats are incredible, almost psychedelic I should say. He dives so deep in the roots of his problems, problems that every man faces throughout his life. Such a masterpiece... Great video my guy
I think if there were a few more songs I would consider it his best album. It’s by far his most perfect album but there’s also a small sample size but every song is a banger
The way Kanye completely opens up on himself and shows his vulnerabilities on Ye is what makes it my personal favorite album of his and a 10 in my opinion. The features from Cudi to Charlie Wilson are on point, the beats are otherworldly and unlike almost nothing we've heard from ye until then, it opened an outlet for upcoming artists like 070 Shake and Pi'erre Bourne, and overall as an experience i can never seem to get tired of it. Masterpiece.
this album and kids see ghosts felt and still feel like an end of an era, and jesus is king just confirmed that, the kanye that started ye and the kanye that ended it feels like 2 diferent persons. I love this album
Bro, your projects are so good and deserve so much more viewership. Literally professional level production and narration. Love the content, keep it coming 🔥🔥
yo great video bro ye literally might be my 3rd favourite kanye album. i absolutely love how vulnerable, cathartic, and honest it is. your video did a great job at exemplifying those points.
@@ssjliano9971 We can do it in different ways brother, studying architecture designing new smarter ways for affordable housing, designing a better water bottle to promote water intake, creating a tinder for friends so more people who are lonely can meet someone based on the Big Five personality system used på Jordan Peterson for example, having and smile on your face etc etc - bottom line, we must use all the resources we as individuals have to create value for other people, and trust me bro if you're here watching a video like this, you surely have a beautiful heart and can come up with a way to creating value for someone else, best luck brother
Love the video, so weird this came out now cause for some reason ive been thinking about this record a lot lately. Id love to see a follow up for kids see ghosts, to me it almost feels like a grounding project for his awakening
Not my favorite album, not sure where I would rank it but I love it. Wouldn't Leave is in my top 10 Kanye songs. This is my favorite Kanye era though for sure. Great video, man.
I think “Ye vs The People” is SUPPOSE to reach ‘no conclusion’ That’s the whole point. He says “we can rap about this all day, lets just cut the beat off and let the people talk” That’s giving room to let all of us talk on the subject
I think "Ye" is actually his true self, since that's the nickname all his close friends use. Rather than an alter ego, it's his personal self that he wanted to reveal in the album. That's why he eventually switched his legal name to Ye.
My favourite part of the 400 years of Salaverry quote is that he looks at them smiling as if he was expecting them to laugh, i love Kanye, but i hace never seen a man look so out of his element
yo love everyone can be listened to on internet archive. it’s a pretty long set of songs, idk if it’s the actual songs from love everyone, but it seems pretty legit🤷♂️
@@mix3k818 well it might not be as good buts it's definitely gonna be similar when it comes to the lyrics and themes because runaway is about how he'll never good for his partner and warns them to stay away from him
What I find dope, other than the video essay? The fellow fans appreciating the fact that Ye was emotionally vulnerable sonically...and we found it relative. I think that's dope. Peace 🕊️ y'all.

True
The album cover isn’t his ranch it’s the Teton mountains Kim took the picture like 30 minutes before the album cover dropped

Ye took the picture. Kim tweeted about Ye taking that pic with his phone

this album is so prescient to the kanye situation today
Kind of controversial but id say ye is one of my favorite kanye albums...

I get that, but that's also why it feels really weird to call him "Ye" when referring to him. I don't know the guy at all. so it's kind of odd...
Ye is one of Kanye’s most underrated album next to Jesus Is King

second most interesting kanye era behind pablo
love the vid but just one thing.
it's pronounced O Seven O, not Zero Seventy
other than that great video
Thanks for letting me know!

Nas is pronounced like (/na:z/) not Nazz lol but good video.

Keep my gun everywhere I go, like DJ Khaled son everywhere I go...
Is anyone else just hoping Kanye will drop Donda?
I'll give him some more time though, since he is still after the breakup with Kim...
I think he's probably gonna drop a runaway pt. 2 or something like that because of the divorce
Gerald Enzo Nah, don't give hopes that high...

Hey where’d you get that sweatshirt?
