Hi everyone! My name is Gem from BCS13 of the College of Science and Computer Studies at De La Salle University - Dasmariñas. Today, we attended the Freshman O.R.I.E.N.T. and it was our first event as college students of this university. Before I proceed, I would like to introduce my new UA-cam vlog series called "Gem's UniDiary" meaning it will be my University Diary. I am trying to go back to vlogging after a long time, because doing this is actually fun BUT very time-consuming. I will try to vlog my college experiences as much as I can. (Editing this video took me 4 business days to finish HAHAHA so I'm not sure if I will be able to continue this series consistently.)
In this vlog, I am mostly with my friends from SHS. Meet Ian, Harlene, Keisha, and Encina. Shoutout to Alarie, we miss you! I saw a lot of familiar faces, people I met from senior high school and my previous school in LTA. I am also glad to meet new people from other sections and colleges. It was a really fun experience, and I'm glad I was able to vlog today. Before we entered ULS, I and my friends waited for each other so we could meet together because we might not be completed again later in the day, and also to take a group photo! As you can see, we are wearing red, because our course is under the CSCS. We are called the Aces. There are a total of 7 colleges in DLSU-D: CBAA, CCJE, CoEd, CEAT, CLAC, CSCS, CTHM.
We interacted with our seniors today, especially those who are in the student council and organizations. Watching the performances of each PAG was a true privilege, and I enjoyed it very much. After the program, some of the BCS and BIT students went outside in front of the ULS to participate in our group photo for a keepsake and also to meet each other. I am happy that my coursemates and collegemates are participative and friendly hehe, hopefully I can spend more time with them and get to know them more. I was thrilled to join them on their first official day at the campus and to answer some of their questions. After our lunch, we visited the HS complex HEHEHEHE I am really glad to be there and see my former teachers. Anyway, we went back to ULS before the program ended at 4PM. We had fun visiting the booths of different groups and organizations at DLSU-D. I'm happy to be bringing home a red flag hehe I'll keep it as a souvenir. Before I went home, I spent a little time with my friend at her home. I'm a little hesitant to include that part of the video, as I usually don't post unfiltered clips on social media, but I really treasure those moments, so maybe I'll let it stay. Social media is kinda scary, but I also like sharing moments with people, so... it's a real struggle! huhuhu
