I bought their new CD and DVD. When I lived in Ohio, my son and I would attend their concerts in Columbus, Ohio. Their live shows are amazing! This is one of my favorite songs that they sing.
In addition, unless the ladies have less visible tattoos, I very much appreciate their natural beauty, voices and presence without the need for inking embellishment, piercings and outlandish fads. Let others do that while these ladies stay true to their strengths and musical abilities.
I was introduced to Celtic Woman through a Wii game called "Endless Ocean: Blue World" but since I was young, I didn’t bother to look at the credits so I just enjoyed the music in game. Then my middle school choir teacher showed us a Celtic Woman DVD and I recognized some of the songs immediately. I've been a fan ever since! Let us thank our cultured teachers for showing us this glorious music ❤
Mairead, yet again, you have absolutely nailed & have absolutely crushed singing Dulaman here; I love all of the versions of "Dulaman" among the Celtic Woman CDs. Mairead, you are definitely in my top 5 "favorite Celtic Woman members of all time" list

I was horrified when the original version of this video was silently removed, glad to see it back! But what I’d really love to see is Caledonia and When You Believe from the 20th anniversary concert, still not been able to see those due to my region and I absolutely love these two songs.
Always reminds me of my grandma and grandpa singing in the kitchen or around the house when I was a kid. I miss it now that grandmas passed away my grandpa loves to listen to the songs still but doesn’t sing them the way he used to if at all.
If they ever do a live action Silmarillion, ladies and gentlemen- here’s Luthien. I don’t know if Carlin has any acting abilities, but I don’t think there’s anyone else alive who could pull off that character.
Looking into it, the name of this song is a mistranslation. The song is about suiters coming to woo a girl, not seaweed. The Irish word for seaweed is dulaman which sounds similar to the word for idiot, duraman, and with the Connacht dialect the R completely becomes an L. This would make the listener believe they are the same when they are 2 completely different words!
Mairead's voice is ethereal & silky! Really beautiful. She should be featured more often!
That's not her, this is a different girl, can't remember her name. Mairead has short blonde hair unless they both have the same name.
Would love to see Celtic Woman live one day. Love their music and the passion they put into their work is truly remarkable.
