- A 22km walk around a classic horseshoe in the mountains of Mayo, starting at Tawnyard Lough and taking in Ben Gorm and the 2 tops of Ben Creggan. An overnight bivy on the summit of Ben Creggan brought fabulous views over Doo Lough and a sunset over the Atlantic.

Absolutely stunning Gerry - pitched up at the edge of the earth with spectacular sunset and sunrise views...it can't get much better than that! 😊 Every single shot was awe inspiring and the accompanying music worked a treat. That Jaffa Cake Mountain was well worth the climb I'd say! Really looking forward to the longer version 👏

Astounding footage and scenery. Many thanks for posting. I hiked Barr Chlais Céim last Saturday and the views overlooking Doolough Valley were nothing short of breathtaking. We're truly blessed, we have it all.

Top class Gerry! You really should be winning some sort of awards for these productions. ......and I'm being serious! There is nothing amateur about your work. It is as close to perfection as any 'amateur ' is going to get. You are giving the tourist boards both north and south such a boost with what you are doing! That was an amazing few seconds that showed the clouds 'falling down' the steep hillside towards the lake, way down below! I had to play it again!!!! I even called Tanya in to see it ! There must be some UK or Irish film competition you can submit these pieces to? They are leaps and bounds beyond what you normally expect even of the better UA-cam channels. Magical camera work! Wow! My question is 'Will you still remember me when you've hit the big time?'

Such a stunning part of Ireland Gerry. Hiked Mweelrea just to the west of here a few weeks back. Cant remember the number of times I heard "WOW" from members of our group. Think a follow up visit is required.
Alan, I can empathise with the 'wow' factor and would find I say it out loud to myself on occasion😊 I was looking up into Coum Dubh as I passed through Doo Lough and probably said 'wow'😊 Ben Gorm/Ben Creggan, Mweelrea and the Sheeffrys are some set around Doo Lough👍

Cheers Alyn👍 the mountains around Doo Lough are one of the best places in all of Ireland for hiking and wild camping and they usually provide all the beautiful footage needed😊 Not long til the longer one😊
