Hi Lexi, thanks for a great and honest review. I think it's important you pointed out it's more of a natural finish and not the most high coverage for those looking for the latter. That said, it looks great on you as does Viseart Violette!!
Thank you for the wear test and review. Aura is a good match for your skin tone. This foundation reminds me of the Dior cushion foundation (which has spf 50). I think I will be sticking to Future Skin, which offers better coverage. The package is pretty though - and very tempting.

You are welcome! The 8 months is from when you open it so you can save the refill for quite a while and the original cushion is sealed upon purchase too.
Thanks for posting the ingredients! This has an egregious amount of silicones, my oily skin will eat this product. The sponges also look like they have oxidized compared to the lighter color of the actual product. Based on this well done review I will be skipping this, definitely saved me some money.

Since the Eclat Doux is limited edition, have you tried any finishing powders that are similar in texture and finish? I have a back up of the Eclat Doux, but am preparing myself for the future when it is no longer available. :( I’ve tried other finishing powders with that glow and find that they are too heavy, powdery, or burns my skin. Instantly dries it out. I can not wear Hourglass powders because of this. Thanks Lexi!
I am so glad you like the kgd! The éclat doux is different from all of the others I have unfortunately. The closest that i have is probably the kgd brightening moisture powder but it is very different. Hopefully they will keep the eclat doux formula and just repackage it. Make sure to let them know you love it! Chantecaille is very good about listening to their customers’ requests

It is very hard for me to see the true depth of how it looks in the bright lights. Can you also show what things look like in more natural lighting as well?
