This is still my favorite channel. Simple, straight foward with a touch of hickok45 humor.
No offense to Wilson, but for $1275 I don't see anything that makes it any better than a bone-stock $500 P365. In fact the OEM sights are much better because they're actually tritium. The most I would do with a stock P365 is get the Wilson grip module, but that is it.
It’s not even optic ready.. what a joke just buy the the p365x for 600 and add the Wilson Combat grip module to it for 70 dollars.
Wilson certainly has a great reputation, however with that in mind if I were them I’d be more than a little embarrassed to see their front sight fail in front of 7,000,000 viewers and on a high dollar weapon.
They aren’t.
Fiber optic fronts do fall out from time to time. It’s the nature of the beast. When it falls out your stick another one in and heat the ends.
Fiber optic sights definitely have no place on any defensive gun, they really should have included tritium night sights, or even better just all black steel sights because the huge majority of people will be getting an optic cut slide and putting an optic on first thing.
@@HarryManback0 The stock tritium sights work great for self-defense, especially in low light. Fiber optics are good for daylight but seem like a downgrade.

It’s cool you can just buy the grip module if you want
Glad to hear you mention the state organizations. Unfortunately, they are often forgotten, but they run a lot of competitions, including those for youth, and they are also involved in legislation and court cases that help protect our rights. I hope folks will consider joining their state organization.

I have the xl w/ wilson combat grip module. Man, Nothing beats that grip for me , not even the Icarus Precision I have.

Never was a fan of fiber optic sights. I've had them come off during shooting. For the price of anything WC at least they could have sights equal to the quality of Sig's X-ray night sights. The stock Sig sights are outstanding.

You can buy just the grip module for like $65. I like it WAY better than the standard P365XL grip

Love the video Wilson always does quality work, I had to laugh when John started going through all the social media sites they are on….it reminded me of Bubba telling Forest Gump about all the shrimp he liked.
What a shame for the price and reputation that Wilson would send that out with a dumb annoying issue..
I bought a Wilson Combat module for my P365XL for about $70. Feels better but shoots the same. Nonetheless I'm glad I bought it. Make sure you keep the factory module as you'll need it to send back to Sig for servicing. I'm leaving my P365 stock as I pocket carry that & want it to stay as slim as possible. Polishing the striker & sear gives you a smooth pull & takes about 1/2 pound off the trigger pull. I've had to send back my P365XL twice now for non working triggers. Last one was a broken trigger bar return spring. But in all honesty I've pretty much had to send everything I own back to the factory for service, except for the only Glock 20 that I own as I was able to fix the malfunctioning slide lock spring. But by the time you change out the non supported barrel, do trigger work, Talon grip tape,better sights, I've over $1,000.00 into the pistol. Should have just bought a Springfield!
It would be interesting hickock for you to shoot the WCP365 and then shoot a magazine with your carry P365 and just see if you notice a difference. I’d like your opinion shooting them back to back. Just a thought. best to you.
I just about choked on my pizza when you quoted the msrp for that weapon. Can't see them flying off the shelves anytime soon. Looks great with the extended mag, though.

Wow, that's a full sized pistol. A smaller pistol that most likely shoots as good or better is th Performance Center S&W Shield Plus 4" ported barrel with fiber optic sights with an extremely nice crisp trigger. Noticeably more accurate than my P365XL.
when i came of age, Wilson's ADP 9MM was on the market and I contemplated getting one though I had only seen it online.....

To my favorite shooter that happens to sound like Dr.Phil. i think the Wilson Combat grip module, although feels and looks amazing. Defeats the purpose of the P365 be so slim, sleek and concealable with the extended beaver tail and physically thicker. You go from forgetting your carrying to getting jabbed in the side by the beaver tail.
After 3 or 4 episodes, I finally got Johns bit at the end. “Great gun for Da-Fence”. 😂 Nice work you two. 🙏

For those people commenting on the fiber optic falling out. It's not fixed from Wilson, so it can be changed. Some people like green or one of the other colors. I sent them my CZ P10F for some upgrades, including new sites. It's in the instructions to fix the site after you find the one you like.

@@NittyGritty420 The WC-P365 is like $1,300. I already daily carry a standard P365 and/or a custom Norsso P365XL with an RMRcc.

@@benjamin3290 yeah I did my mistake. The crazy thing about the WC p365 is it isn’t even optic ready. You would think for that much money it would be. I’d say someone’s best bet is to buy the p365x for 600$ and put the WC grip module on it for an additional 70$.
I have never felt the need to change my P365X. It works for me right out of the box.
I tried to be fancy and got the Wilson 365 XL grip. I didn’t like it and switched back to the OG grip.

The fiber optic rods are easily replaceable and tend to come out. It flew out of mine, but easy fix and with a snappy little gun it’s clear it needs further reinforcement. That said, love the firearm, but I don’t get putting fiber optic on a defense pistol. For the price it should come with a better front sight.
Usually get a couple of rods included as well but I would prefer night sight front sight
I have the p365 with WC grip module and weights installed. Had to wrap them in electrical tape to get them to fit snugly

Love my P365’s and I like Wilson Combat, but no way am I doubling the price of them, Lol.
Also, the front sight debacle is an embarrassment for WC, and your leaving it in the video is one of the reasons you’re trusted.
Curious about what happened with Federal Ammunition.
I put a Wilson combat grip module on my P365XL. It is a very grippy grip and it is not abrasive with respect to IWB carry. Adding just the grip module is an inexpensive $59 way to go. This setup retains the OE sights plus I have a red dot on my OE slide.
The Best Gun guy on UA-cam hands down. Not debatable.
The Wilson combat grip is totally worth the money, however I will not be spending 1,000+ on a concealed carry gun without an optics cut

Pretty interesting, so I guess WC is an example of the gun industry's equivalent of car tuning.
Some people design guns, others believe they can redesign it into something better.

The sig p365/xl dont really need the updates thats they did the firearm is pretty good to me the sights are great mines came with flat face trigger thats pretty solid and feels good only thing I would do with mines is add the optics thats it

Iv noticed you have not done a review on the jericho 941 full size pistol..unless I missed it. I have one and I absolutely love it I have run 9mm+p and 9mm+p+ thru it and have had no issues hard ammo to find in my experience personally but it seems to like it. I believe it was originally chambered in 41 action express...it is heavy but I love it great to have fun with

All you you need to buy is the grip module for50-60.00 and you are good, They are made for the p365 & P365x-xl.

Being that wears the Wilson name that added a few $$$ I would expect the sight to stay together for more than 3 mags! I'm sure they did a fine job on the rest of it!

To me the trigger was not much better then stock, and I like the 3 dot night Sights!

Great shooting brother. Better choices for a front site but things happen. It is still a fantastic weapon and well done. There could have been a flaw in the materials. Never has been the best option. But why trash them?
As already said, no Federal? Does that mean you will now start reviewing ammo? The entertainment business sucks on occasion.....
