It was a pleasure teaching @Jazza how to blow glass. I'm very proud of what he managed to achieve especially in the 4 hours he had to do it 😊. Even better it's really nice to see how his products came out, and how his daughter reacted to the kitty cat 🐈. This is an amazing video @Jazza keep up the good work 💯 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Jazza's the only art youtuber that does everything. From sculpting to glass blowing and of course, painting. Thank you Jazza for entertaining us with you creativity. Edit: I'm sorry for the spelling mistake I fixed it.
Check out Evan and Kaitlyn. It's a different kind of channel, but they've done several of the same things Jazza experimented with. I'm sure lots of artists would love to do a video on every art form, but without the money and team that Jazza has, it's a lot less feasible. You'll probably notice he doesn't get into the really expensive arts until after his channel blew up.
My favorite thing about watching Jazza make art is that he always has fun making it. He really takes the "no mistakes, only happy accidents" philosophy of Bob Ross & applies it to every video. I love how he's not looking to completely master what he's doing in the video, he's just exploring the medium and learning with us. Thank you for all that you do, Jazza!
Ever since I was a kid I always appreciated the art of glass blowing. I went to the Renaissance festival with my mom and dad and there was a glass blowing booth I seriously spent 2 hours watching 😂 it truly is a beautiful art form. And I love that you finally did a video on it. Can't wait to show my son, he loves your videos too 😊
Anyone else think it would be cool to see Jazza make tabletop scenes out of lego? It may not overlap aesthetically, but I just really wanna see him play with lego!
I love how this channel has just become Jazza's way of justifying doing all the crazy things you want to do as a child but never had the money or permission to do. Don't change, this is great to watch.
my aunt's been taking glassblowing classes and studio time for the last two years. it was a gift of classes for christmas that got her started. it's so fun watching people grow with glass in various ways. i definitely like the idea of melting glass rather than cutting it myself (for stained glass work). this was nice to watch! and also made me aware of just how cynical i am when jazza is so excited about everything and the colors and how things turn out. i need to attend to my inner critic again and i'm glad for the gentle reminder.
How dare you come to the UK without seeing if I wanted to meet up for a pint! Love this video, thought your vase looked like a cosmic storm. Your daughter’s reaction to the kitty at the end was priceless.
I wish we got more of an explanation of what's happening and why, more of the actual journey. I feel like we got to see some cool looking shots and the final results, but not much of a story. It's nice to look at, but I'm not gonna be coming back to rewatch, or remember anything in particular about this. I feel like it's a real shame, especially when Jazza's trying out such cool, unique techniques that not many people get an opportunity to explore. Maybe even if there wasn't much time to get a lot of footage at the workshop, it'd still be fun to have Jazza sit down and tell us about the experience step by step and have the tale be illustrated by the cool clips. I know these videos are edited for maximum reach, but it's cases like this when I really wish we got more meat on the bones of content, so to speak. And I think it might actually be more of a draw, too - I'm thinking of someone like Safiya Nygaard, who goes very much into longer form, meticulously well-researched and informative videos, often about taking on a new skill, and they get millions of views, and are praised for insane rewatchability, which I can vouch for. I realise her content is a polar opposite to Jazza's, especially with the direction the editing's taken lately, so I'm not advocating going for an extreme. I'm just saying, I come back to certain Jazza videos because I remember the story of it, and I believe that's ultimately what people get interested in.
You basically summed up my exact feeling. I might as well look at slims instagram instead of this video, there's nothing here. But I guess we - or at least I - no longer count to the target demographic of this channel.
I agree, I would have liked at least a little explanation on what they're doing. Like I watched this video and still don't have a clue how they get colours in there.
Gonna confess I’m extremely envious. Glass blowing ornaments and paperweights is a long time dream. I’ve made glass beads and glass colors don’t behave like you think they would., it’s not like mixing paint. Sometimes the colors react with each other and you get mud or you could get cool effects. Glass is a fickle mistress but so incredibly cool.
Your videos always make me smile, you’re such an amazing UA-camr and I’ve been watching you for years and I never get bored of your content. You do amazing work jazza!
Very fun to watch and cool creation process. I would have loved a longer version of the video with more details on working the glass and showing the progress! It felt a bit rushed.
I adore the episodes where Jazza highlights true masters of complex arts to facilitate him learning. Next could be glass beads and smaller glass work in the Jazza studio on the torch. Beautiful outcomes. So charming and exciting.
"Are you in town for business or pleasure?" "Both!" 😁 Jazza's bauble and vase turned out pretty nice! I took a similar class out here in California and it was a ton of fun even though our pieces came out kinda lumpy. I highly recommend it to people that are willing to try new adventures!
Woah, this video was so fascinating and beautiful! All of the glass art turned out gorgeously ✨ The ‘firestorm’ vase honestly reminded me a lot of a planet, very pretty swirling colors. If I had to choose a favorite though, probably the wintery bauble you made. It was stunning. Would definitely catch my eye if I was to pass by it in a shop 💕✨
There is nothing better than hand blown glass! No matter what is being created, it’s always unique and one of a kind! I love that you got a chance to give it a try!
I've been to Bath Aqua Glass! Years ago now when I went to England I just randomly passed by and saw they had a sign own for demos that afternoon so I went. I then found a shop here in my city in Canada where I could take classes. You did a fantastic job! Great teachers guiding you. I don't know if you got to see or do it, but some of the craziest things for me with glassblowing are when you spin it 360 degrees to elongate the glass and using a thick wad of wet newspaper to shape the glass. It feels like the closest you can get to shaping the glass with your hand. You should try lampworking! It's small scale glass working using a table mounted torch and rods of glass to make things like marbles, beads, pendants, little sculptures, and even glass pens!
Sometimes I'll go through patches of pure panic when I don't do anything creative or artistic and binge watching Jazza's videos always lessens that anxiety for me, love you Jazza🫂
its really cool that you're trying all these different art mediums. i dont watch your videos much anymore but i see them pop up in my sub box from time to time. all the best to you
YES I've been wanting to see you give this a go for years! So glad you did, and that you had fun! It's a beautiful art form and it never fails to astound me what wild, creative stuff people can do with glass. :)
I love seeing all these different craft trades that Jazza has tried because you really see how much talent the professionals have. This was amazing, I’ve always been fascinated with glass blowing and making
Saw a glass blowing demo at the Corning Museum of Glass, those guys make it look easy, but they said it took them years to get to a place where they could make that demo look effortless. Corning, NY is kind of in the middle of no where in rural New York, but its totally worth the trip if you want to see the history and science of glass making.
It’s really great to see you in Blighty 🇬🇧 with your family. Hope you all had a great time travelling around the country. Bath Aqua Glass like Bristol Blue Glass both allow people to visit their sites in Bath and Bristol, it’s worth going. I believe that they also run courses. 🙂🇬🇧
I hope this means a stained glass project is soon to come. Ironically it's a drastically different art form than blowing, but I'm loving it so far. I'll do glass blowing one day, but it's expensive and hard to find classes for such a dangerous art form.
For a first try at glass work you have done great Jazza, I use to make glass beads for jewellery and that was hard enough to learn especially when trying to blow a small amount of hot glass.
@@davidcarr5068 😱My local hot shot has a free beginner course for veterans that I am in so I am really just starting out, Mostly cups and vases so far, but I am starting to expand my horizons and learning some more artistic sculpting.
Hi Jazza! Great as always.. pushing the limits and being different from sand art to sculpting to now glass blowing. Thank you for being an inspiring creator 😊
I almost went to school to be a glass blower. But I spent a couple of days in the glass school and the hot wasn't for me. One thing I made shattered because I couldn't get close enough to place is in the cooling "owen?" The teachers were used to teach over 3 years, so no hands on help and only an ugly blob to show. But it's not something everyone has tried, so it's still fun to have experienced it. Would love to try it again as a grown up and with someone like Slim as help.
I myself always shoot for the tornado of chaos, and then feel extra pleased when it actually turns out looking lie something planned. 😂 My favorite is Jazza's bobble, it's so pretty!
I got really excited at the mention of glassblowing in the UK and thought you were going to go to the National Glass Centre up in the North, I used to go visit there loads as a kid and just watch them blow and make glass, vases, paperweights, bowls etc It was always cool af to watch.
Oh man, that was so cool and awesome of the guys to fit you in on short notice. And they seemed like such great teachers. Loved the video, loved seeing masters at work, and the art was enjoyable as ever.
ima glassblower pretty much just a pipemaker . 21 years melting . i make lots of pipes rigs marbles n pendants . its was smaller then what u tried . but way more intricate . thts soft glass us pipemaker guys n marbles are boro glass guys . or pyrex. very cool jazza
Hey Jazza, I recently got into VR, and got this idea. Since you have a VR headset and 3D printers, you could make a set of 3d printer armor for yourself or Shad. Of course purely cosmetic. You could make a mannequin of someone just by sketching with controller close to their body, and in programs like Gravity Sketch you have a scale indicator, and later export in 3d printable formats. Love the channel :)
Jazza you are just a fricken inspiration. I understand that this isnt the case and its taken YEARS of hard work to get here, but you just try stuff and it feels like you're just good at ALL OF IT!?! Its so awesome! I hope you know that. I really appreciate you as a person(as much as I can from only knowing you through a screen
That was very cool, Jazza! Love all your glass blown objects! 🥰💖 Especially the pink kitty 🐈 for your daughter! So very shiny! 🥰🤗 So adorable! Love the winter glass blown one also! 🥰
When I was a kid my grandparents used to give me blown glass ornaments that were always so delicate and sort of... curly? Like it was a string piled into the shape they were aiming for. I hated them!! lol! I was really pleasantly surprised to see the results of your time with Slim, the things you made are substantial and have vibrant colours and can obviously be handled without fear of crushing them. The Christmas tree bauble you made is particularly lovely, you definitely nailed that winter vibe. Maybe Slim was going for an Aussie Christmas look with the sunshine and burnt colour scheme :)
Wow! You did such a good job!! I have taken a couple of shorter glass classes. It is not an easy thing to do at all. I would love to find a whole day class. So much fun!
Jazz, you really inspire me cause I would love to do and try all these art things you do everyday! I love so fun and creative!! Also seeing Blown Away, different glass museums, and just loving glass like that really makes me want to try so glass blowing too XD Thanks for keeping your UA-cam alive for all these inspiring artists!
Oh my god!! My kilncare is my family's business and theyre the ones who made and my dad designed the kilns im in shock seeing my familys kilns on such a massive youtubers video, im showing this everyone im so happy
This was awesome bud. Mate, your kids are growing up quickly, seems like only yesterday seeing your daughter as a baby on here.. Quality content as always, I love how you just jump right in and have a go.
We live not far from Bath and never knew about this glass blower. Definitely going to check them out. Glad you had a great time in the UK and thanks for the amazing content 😊❤
I just did glass blowing myself on Murano (the Venzian Iceland of glass) a very great expierence! I would do it again, for sure....it was breathtaking...now I am waiting for my glasses (I made a drinking glass and my teacher Anna from Wave- Murano Glass made me one as gift) they are send to me.
The show 'Blown away' on Netflix gave more respect to glass blowing and there's a risk and reward theme. Those helping Jazza with glass blowing, are some skilled people.
I remember when I was taking my associate's degree I needed to take some classes to flesh out my schedule so I was considered full time, I took a glassblowing class. It was a lot of fun. I feel like glass is a really responsive media so you can get immediate feedback as to how you are doing with it. I made a bunch of dumpy shot glasses, and a couple of steins. For our final we had to make several glasses, one with a handle, one with bit-work, and one without a handle or bit-work, as well as a piece with color. I had tried to make a flame for my color piece but the glass pieces defused in the kiln. The handled glass I made was great, it had nearly straight sides, no included bubbles in the wall, the wall was a comfortable thickness, the handle was nearly perfect. Then while grinding the bottom flat on the grit-stone it caught an edge and was thrown out of my hand and shattered. I was so angry.
Cool to see you working wi5 glass. I wish you had shown you actually making the bauble? The colour palette turned out great, but I would have liked to see footage of you making it. Nice work on the vase too.
As an ex-stoner, I've always appreciated glass blowing and I envy you _enormously._ Unfortunately, heat is a bit too attracted to me and I should probably avoid being around molten glass lol

Your bauble has a winter wonderland inside it, for sure! I hope Slim and Liz are proud of you. Your vase looks very much like a planet forming!
Planet is exactly what I thought for the vase as well. It had a very cool primordial look to it.
Slim’s an absolute legend. We’ve never met but I’ve heard so many great things from the Bristol art community
Are you into glass as well or do you work with another medium? This is slim by the way 👍

Doesn't Jazza have a Tabletop YT channel of sorts?
They turned out really good!! And the look on your daughter's face after she got the glass cat is so wholesome

Wow! You did such a good job!! I have taken a couple of shorter glass classes. It is not an easy thing to do at all. I would love to find a whole day class. So much fun!
Jazz, you really inspire me cause I would love to do and try all these art things you do everyday! I love so fun and creative!!
Also seeing Blown Away, different glass museums, and just loving glass like that really makes me want to try so glass blowing too XD
Thanks for keeping your UA-cam alive for all these inspiring artists!
Was such a pleasure to have Jazza at the studio.

That Chaos vase is so beautiful! You should be proud of that :]
We live not far from Bath and never knew about this glass blower. Definitely going to check them out. Glad you had a great time in the UK and thanks for the amazing content 😊❤
i absolutely love glass blowing so i was a bit disappointed with how edited down this video is. hope we can get a longer part 2 soon!
Yes!! I’ve been waiting and hoping Jazza would do glass blowing! ❤❤ Wonderful job!
jazza has used almost every art medium
I just did glass blowing myself on Murano (the Venzian Iceland of glass) a very great expierence! I would do it again, for sure....it was breathtaking...now I am waiting for my glasses (I made a drinking glass and my teacher Anna from Wave- Murano Glass made me one as gift) they are send to me.
I’m SO excited for this video! I love glass art and have been hoping for so long that you’d give it a try
The show 'Blown away' on Netflix gave more respect to glass blowing and there's a risk and reward theme. Those helping Jazza with glass blowing, are some skilled people.
Thank you
It’s so beautiful!! I would love to try glass blowing someday. I have a gorgeous vase a friend gave me a few years ago, turquoise and so pretty
I'm so impressed by Jazza's christmas buble 😯 It's really beautiful 🤩
Awesome, just when I needed a new, fun Jazza video!
The bubble ornament is really beautiful
That wasn’t meant to be a reply but I’m too tired to fix it sorry
@@CorinaSha It's ok, this happens to me all the time; at least you have the decency to admit it.
This is one of the coolest things! I was in very similar place with on my school trip years ago, best day ever ❤
