I tried this method and it left the oil, which had only been used once, dark, cloudy, pungent & un-usable. Did I do something incorrectly or does this method simply not work in real life? 😢
Many thanks for your comment. I can't actually relate with how your oil turned out because that hasn't been my experience; especially that part about the oil turning out dark and pungent. As I mentioned in the video, the cleaned oil sometimes turns out cloudy but will become clear again once it's reheated. Blessings ❤️
@aparnagupta3747 perhaps you'd like to try again. I know this hack works coz I've been doing it for years. Here's to wishing you the best and blessings❤
Heya and thanks for your comment. I used just one cup for the video😊. If cleaning more oil, you should use 2-3 tablespoons of corn starch for every 1 cup of oil. Blessings to you❤️
I bet u feel silly now. Smh. This our problem quick to bash ppl for 1. Not knowing the whole story and 2. Not doing it the way u would do it. If someone fry with 1 cup of oil then thats their business.
You either didn't use enough water which will make it cloudy or you didn't put enough of the mixture to the right amount of oil . I started with her amount in a deep fryer and didn't put enough water and it made my oil dirty once it cooled. I tried it again with a huge amount of corn starch and water and it worked wonders
Wow, this works amazing! And doable! Thank you for this briljant tip.❤🙏

1 cup of oil? lol. What amount for real frying, wings, fries, etc. 8-16 cups from a larger fryer?
