Forestry Trunk Road Exploration and Camping - Gen X-ventures Episode 24

We headed out for some Forestry Trunk Road exploration and camping!
From Edmonton, we made our way southwest to Nordegg Alberta where we filled up with fuel and started heading north on the Forestry Trunk Road. Our goal was to find some great camping locations between Nordegg and Hinton. We had a spot in mind for our camp. It did not disappoint.
We made our way to the area we picked and found a great camp spot with no one else in our little area. It was a great spot to set up for the afternoon and overnight. We tried our hand at fly fishing (we will catch something eventually!) Then had supper and a great sleep in our secluded camp spot.
Sunday morning had us up and on the road early so we could explore the road between our camp and Hinton, Alberta. We found 3 more areas that we are going to begin our fall/winter camping season with. One that will be coming up soon.
We finally saw some wildlife on one of our camp trips! A small herd of Bighorn Sheep was kind enough to pose for us along the roadside. We took some fun videos and really nice photos of them.
