Ingram is way too injury prone, and played like garbage in the play in. I wouldn't want Wiggins either since he's on a max contract and he's not very good anymore.
NBA Champ Wiggins could recreate & reactivate like RJ if he came home & refocused with the cities hard loving accountability - furthermore he’d be a invaluable great Vet long term when said & done
With Wiggins there is something going on with him then is being made public. I think he is anxious to return closer to home as he is quite close with his family and of course grew up as a lifelong Raptors fan. It also does not hurt the he also has a history with RJ so it would be nice to be reunited on the same roster. Bruce Brown on a trade would be fair and Jacob absolutely is not part of this deal, maybe Boucher or a 2 round or late first round draft pick.
100% agree with your take. i think his career path changes much for the better back here in the GWN for sure. also, keep poetl unless there's an upgrade available. he's solid and gives them some stability as a serviceable, competent centre
No way they’re a top 5-6 team. Top 7 already solidified. (BOS NYK PHI CLE ORL IND MIL). Rather give up less for Wiggins and get a quality piece in the draft. Still hoping they get to the Play In during the process.
Raps will get Wiggins plus picks in a salary dump or not at all. I can't see trading for Ingram. He's doesn't defend and doesn't fit the roster plus giving up poeltl who would play center, Fernando, Mogbo or god forbid, Barnes., ... just doesn't work.
Trade Portal and Brown they still have value but both have injury problems. Well they still have value raptors should trade them. Their value only going down and this isn't the year for raptors to make a huge leap. Can they make the playoffs yes but only probably at best a play in team. It be better trade Portal and resign Koloko and let this season play out. There supposed to be some good players in next seasons draft. One more season of being bad won't hurt and then we will be prime to make a huge jump. The raptors last draft pick Comanche is only 18 and super raw. But has the motor and athleticism and size to be the next Giannias as long as raptors develop him right he has potential to take the top spot from Barnes. Again it's way to early to say but he does have speed, size 7ft , athleticism and great endurance/ motor. If raptors can hold off and have one more bad season. They could be contender the following seasons to come
i like wiggins, but hard to see who they would be willing to give up before i could agree or disagree. as for their record this season, depending on how they start and injuries which is unknowable, i would say top 5-6 is definitely possible. they might get off to a poor start bc the schedule is tough, and they need to find the right formula with new the talent coming in. having said that, i am optimistic and i believe 100% with the moves they made and their potential. but, regardless of how they start i can foresee them giving other teams a lot of trouble by the end of the season. last year was ugly in some ways bc they were a work in process, there was unavoidable chaos with all those trades. some fans were not happy bc they didn't win very often, but true fans understand re-builds and personally i was fascinated with the process, and i saw plenty of things to be optimistic about. my prediction is that they will be big fun to watch bc they play raptor style ball with passing and defence the focus, and they will score plenty with the core - and, btw, i count grady as part of that core bc he's got that stroke and he muscled up over the off season which he clearly needed to do. but he's got grit and even while he got pushed around and had a challenge start, he came on by the late season and showed what he can do for this team. he is also a very good passer. i think he's determined to become a star in this league and i believe he will succeed. it's all just talk rn and no one really knows, so i'm just geeking harder by the day and ready to see them in action. btw, i think a key is that poetl has to stay healthy to do well bc they play so much better with a bona fide centre, and while he's not a big talent, he is solid for sure, and that's all they need from that position so if he does his job and stays healthy they won't resemble the mess we saw last season. i think the analysts who say they will be near the bottom or at the bottom of the division are way off base. cheers! enjoy the season! go raptors!!!
I’d do the wiggins deal if not tanking but not the Ingram deal. He’s going to cost too much and doesn’t give us any wing defence which we need

So if you trade Yak, who's gonna be your starting Center?
thank u, for writing the comment. No one seems to mention that fact.
Kelly O?

Exactly! Ima let Masai to get it done.
@@Jayse last time Leafs Won Trophy they had majority Canadian Born players too in ‘67 I think; willing to wait for SGA

Get wiggins and he will play better just like RJ. Watever RJ is going through will be contagious.

Only trade makes sense is 3 team trade with Kelly and Bruce + Portland 2rnd pick to pels ,Ingram to warriors , wiggins + gp2 to raps
Wiggans plus three 1st's for a used basketball might work.
Wiggins is almost 30m at this point in his career he's only going to get worse not better. Not sure if he's worth taking on another max contract.
30 is nothing he can easily be solid for another 5-6 years.... Wiggins can help the Raptors big time!
Another clickbait tittle lol, the Raptors haven't been linked to Wiggins
if wiggins can improve like RJ did, im down
Wiggins is almost 30, RJ is 23. Wiggins is who he is at this point.
I don't think so. Too much money for a non starter.

Wiggins and unprotected 1st for poetl.
No! No wiggins!
There cannot be any real interest in wiggins. This sounds like American reporters coming up with crap.
not one rumour has come true that ya'll talked about lol
Idk he predicted the OG trade two months before
