In my country, avocado is identified as fruit 😁 It is interesting to know that British call it as vegetable.
I am native English, lived here all my life and I have always classed avocado as a fruit and always will
Its a fruit
For me it's a vegetable but I don't know and it's quite interesting than in other countries they identify a same thing differently
Also in Italy it is considered a fruit.
I was so happy that Lucy quoted "Brazil nut" (Castanha-do-Pará) Thanks for the class❤️
Dear, keep on keeping on. I love your program. I need to know more. Cheers!
I took a writing exam in my school (quiz),, writing tips is very important,, and thanks for ur video (writing tips)

That is a good starting lesson. Maybe time was a concern but a few very popular items were missed such as cherries, peaches and pecans. Anyway, I love your channel even though I am a native English speaker. It's nice to be reminded of aspects of the language we take for granted so that we might be more clear in our communication with both other native and non-native speakers alike.
you are so a model instructor . I have great respect for you
You’re great! Loved this class
My favorite one is definitely avocado. I love this either sweet or salvoury. It´s really delicious and appetising.
I just wanna speak like you. Your accent is perfect. I came across some weird accents in the UK and yours I can hear it all day.

@@EnglishwithLucy ma'am is there any free offline app from wehere I can learn English very frequently with a powerful strong vocabulary?
hahaha it is morning now in New York. I just ordered my fresh fruit juice. And in that particular time, this new video lesson popped up))
I love banana.
By the way, I like it when you mention American version of the words as well
oh hi thank you so much i love you
and thank you so much for teaching😊
Thank you 🙂
7:03 This is what I've been calling an eggplant for the last 10 years. Didn't know about the aubergine.
And I thought its brinjal 😅
No eggplant is in American English
eggplant is from the dumbed-down bastardised form of the English language that developed in America over the past couple of centuries. Aubergine is from the correct form of English
Eggplan is an american term
On vegetable #3, we would call those "bell peppers" to clarify, versus chili peppers. I'm in Michigan.
Do you also say paprika? I always get confused with these three words :D
we call bell peppers "capsicums" in Australia

AFAIK, its papprika. It very strange to imagine salt and pepper.

Yay I couldn't be happier..!! 💃 💃 💓💓. It's almost been a month since I got a pronunciation lesson from your end Miss Earl .😊😊♥️♥️. 'Thank You' will be an understatement for the efforts that you've been putting all these years to teach us all. Yet again I wish to extend my gratitude to you for all that you've done & would continue to do for your inquisitive learners. 😃😃🤗🤗❤❤
P. S. This is one of my most favourite topics to learn. 😊😊♥️♥️
Dont worry too much on pronouncing nouns, because even native speakers pronounce many words different from others. I had someone call a crepe a creep 🤣 its supposed to be pronounced like crayp, and everyone in America pronounces tree like chree, or children as chiljren. Gosh I hope that makes sence 🤣 I'm so sorry that everyone in America sucks at English. Oml sorry I had to add this, but we also a lot of the time we pronounce d's a j's, you can see this used for things like "dragon" when we pronounce it like "jragon" because it's easier to say 🤣
@@alyssashoemaker3414I appreciate what you've said but I wish to enhance my oratory skills and take them a notch higher & Miss Earl's lessons certainly help me with that. 😊❤

Learning English with lucy is so good👍👍👍
Strawberry. I've just learnt that i pronounce this word wrongly.
same here
Maybe you pronounced it with american pronounciation
I totally agree
Her accent is british
as someone who's first language is english, in America we don't really pronounce it like she did. She has an accent cause she's british but here we pronounce it more like "straw barree " "ba" as in bat. she also pronounces banana as "baw naw naw" but here we pronounce it as (ba as in bat) banana.
