I don't know how I missed this till now. Man time flies. I've seen so many legit legendary acts over my life (Springsteen, Fogerty, R.E.M., Clapton, Knopfler, and many more...) And this right here is still one of the best nights of music a human can experience. There is no better small show. Used to catch Angie years ago anytime he'd make it to Birmingham and he's still listened to regularly at our house.
His Rocketman actually made me love the song and started my adventure of Elton John's music. Angie will always be one of very few performers I can honestly say sends chills down my spine when he sings!
You tub has its moments.. glad this popped up. As an artist/musician and vise/versa, this music is much appreciated... Thank you dude(s). Live music... Where it's at..
Saw Angie in a small club in Nashville (my girlfriend at the time was a music publicist - she still is! Lol!). We fell in love with his music and the man behind it. The American was a seminal part of my life 20 years ago. I am revisiting now 20 years later. We love you, Angie!
I was lucky enough to be one of the recording engineers on The American and I'd never heard of Angie before that. The moment he walked up to the microphone I was blown away with his voice and his songwriting was second to none. I still get chills listening to that record. Wonderland is still one of my all time favorite vocal performances. Angie, if you're reading this, I miss ya brother and I'm glad to see that you are doing well. All the best!
What a fantastic recording you guys captured! I treasure my copy of "The American" and yes, to watch Angie perform Wonderland still gives me shivers...I recall when he does it Live, you can hear a pin drop in some of the loudest clubs in America.
Thank you for being part of an album I still can't put down- it's been an important one for me ever since I first heard Spaceship randomly in an acquaintance's car back in 1999 and I didn't ask what the song was. It stuck with me so hard that I finally tracked it down a good 6 months later after literally a single listen. Here, 20 years later, it's still part of my musical life. Wonderland remains one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard.
Thanks for tuning in. It was such an amazing experience working with Angie. We have more Angie Aparo material that will be released at a later date. MINDBLOWING

Saw Angie 12+ times years ago and it makes my heart so happy to hear his voice back just as strong as it was back then! One of my top 5 all time favorite singer songwriters for sure.

You could purchase it if you catch a show - he had them available last week when I saw him. Haven't checked if you can buy online.
