Think relatively to button making. Have you ever seen or even thought of making a flocculant button? No? Cuz you don’t make buttons probably but even if you did, you wouldn’t because it’s crazy! And to go against the status quo is pretty chaotic if you think about it. But yes, if you want to compare button making to bank heists or Space X rocket launches then no, it’s not very chaotic or crazy.
Carving stamps is difficult I had to do it for art class. Trying to not mess up by taking to much off or taking the wrong sections off was annoying props to you man!

You should try pressing the leaf beforehand. With this technique you can even turn bulky flowers into smooth, everlasting patterns for buttons. Eventually, the leaf will decompose and the button may experience some weird separation because of it.

I haven't carved Linoleum and made stamps since elementary school in the 80's. 😮 This brings back so many memories. So tempted to get a block and some tools. 😀
The one time I tried linocutting was in school. I cut myself with the biggest one on the first cut I make and needed stitches. Never again lol. Really cool shit dude. Keep it up.

My left index fingernail grows permanently wonky cuz of a cut I gave myself in my printmaking class. The nailbed got damaged, I guess. I didn't make the connection between the two things until years later, tho. xD
My engineering teacher in freshman year had us make buttons for a couple weeks to make sure we knew how to listen to directions, we got to pick the pictures and make as many as we wanted. I still have so many, it was a great experience

The leaf one is actually genius, if you take a picture of it everyday, it'll slowly change color, and eventually turn brown. That's amazing!
