    is there maybe some thin metal tube you could buy off the shelf in home depo that would fit a .22?
    it could be used as support for the FDM printed tube.
    Whatever you do in the future is fine. i enjoyed this video

    I can see a hole in the bottom of the can. PLA is the weakest filament. I think the barrel could be ed printed, but the initial blast ???

    the round you keep calling a long rifle is a 22 WMR(22 MAG)...🤦‍♂which is why it is bigger then the actual Long Rifle.....

    Resin 3d printing is very hard but also very fragile. I would look at 100% infill in a bit more durable filament maybe like an abs filament since its pretty strong but still affordable.

    He would have used a metal 3d printing, not resin, you can print 316L stainless steel with many metal printers now, I have a Zortrax M300 dual that will print loads of metallic powders, and if you look online you can find files to make said guns with metallic powder.
    Look up BASF Ultrafuse 316L
